The property was fantastic! The hosts left no detail overlooked. It was clean, wonderfully decorated, and convenient to both Marine Ave and the ferry. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to stay on Balboa Island.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is impeccably designed, charming, well appointed, and very clean. The location is also ideal. It’s close to the bayfront, marine, and the car ferry for easy access to the peninsula. The hosts were very prompt in responding to us and very helpful. We will absolutely be back again. 10/10 recommend

This was a 5-star experience all the way! Matt was very nice and responsive throughout our whole stay. The location was absolutely perfect. Very close to the beach, Balboa main strip, CDM and Newport. The house itself is in a quiet spot. The house is gorgeous! The layout, decor and details are so well done and just beautiful. We had an amazing trip. If this house is available for your stay, jump on it!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very, clean and comfortable and close to the water. It was nice having the carport. Would stay again.

This is a really neat home in a wonderful location. It is a few houses from the bay and a short walk to quaint Marine Street with it's restaurants and shops. The house was comfortable and nicely decorated and spotless. We had everything we needed - beach wagon and chairs, kitchen supplies, starter supplies and very comfortable beds. We appreciated the flexibility Matt showed us and really enjoyed out time. I would recommend this property and would stay there again! Thanks!

We were there for 2 weeks, the area is fantastic! We enjoyed walking around the island, found some favorite restaurants & shops & enjoyed meeting the neighbours. The cottage was nice & clean, great for what we needed. Just a heads up, there are ceiling fans but no AC so keep that in mind if you are a hot sleeper. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are small & suited for shorter people. Overall, our stay was great & the owner was responsive & pleasant to deal with!

Our week on Balboa Island was just wonderful! Diamond Ave. is a perfect location: walking distance to the Bay, the ferry and downtown!! The owner was readily available!! The house is very livable and comfortable!! We hope to return!!

We had an incredible time on Balboa island. The location was suberb. Close to shops and ferry. We did walks and enjoyed the island and surrounding parts of Newport. Will defnitley return and stay again. Loved it!!!
