This is an excellent house in every possible way: great location, renovated, clean, cozy-comfy, stylish, quiet, dune/beachfront. We had a lovely time during our stay in April. I would definitely come back! Loved it!

The home was exactly as described. The deck was amazing for catching the sunrise, and much appreciated that it was fully gated for my dogs. Loved having direct access to the beach.

We had a fantastic time, would stay here again. Very clean, love the huge deck with steps to beach. Outdoor shower is very roomy! We brought our own steam pot & stopped at seafood meadling in dover on way down. 20mins to Rehoboth shops & restaurants. Also recommend crooked hammock, dog friendly

Broadkill Beach is a wonderful, quiet and charming residential beach community. This aIs a beautiful little house with a wraparound deck, dog friendly, with a few hundred feet walk through the dunes to the beach. The house is clean, easily cleanable floors and a basic but full kitchen, comfortable beds and easy access to the beach. There are beach chairs and a grill which we did not use

The house is adorable and in a great location . The beds were super comfy but supplying my own bedding was a hard task since i came from WA state. The kitchen could use some small additions to make cooking easier. A cutting board, basting brush, tongs,plastic pitcher, carrot peeler all availabe at the dollar store. The beach was great even if mother nature did not cooperate. Oh the outdoor shower was great but no light?

This home looks just like the pictures. It was clean and welcoming. The care that the host has put into the home shows. I love that it is pet friendly. My dogs enjoyed their vacation at Snow Goose and I think they were a little sad to be leaving the beach (they are labs). Kitchen was well stocked and there were a few spices, sugar, coffee,k-cups and plenty of cleaning supplies. The pots and pans were fine for what little cooking we did. The biting flies are real and there were several fly swatters in the home. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves the entire week. We will definitely be back.

This is the third year staying here,the accommodations are just what we look for.Clean and comfortable and a short walk to the beach and an easy drive to Lewes and golf. We have no problem staying there again.

Everything was very easy!

This is our 2nd summer staying at this beautiful beach house, and we hope to go again next year! Bring your food and drinks and there's no reason to leave. As a beach lover with a dog who loves the same, this place is a gem. Quiet beach, easy swimming, and beach access right from property. Something we didnt take advantage of last year but LOVED this year, was the ourdoor shower! Thank you Terry!

What a beautiful beach house! Exactly what I was looking for when booking. Quiet, private beach escape.

We had a wonderful stay with our family of four. The house was clean and as advertised. The deck and home looked like it had been newly renovated. It was a short walk to the water, straight off the deck. Our family loved it!

Third year we've stayed here and we absolutely love it!! Clean, comfy, and, convenient!! Terry is easy to deal with, responds quickly to questions, not that we have any because this cottage is terrific (the only question we have is can we rent again)! Hopeful to come back again next year!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Snow Goose! The place was quiet and peaceful, we loved the location right on the beach, and we absolutely loved watching the sunrises in the morning! We would definitely stay here again!

It was a beautiful cottage with plenty of comfy spots to curl up, inside and out, with a dog friendly deck (w gates across the stairs). It was very comfortable.

This is our second time staying here and the house fits our needs perfectly. From the short walk to the beach or the close proximity to golf or Lewes for dinner. The house is starting to show its age but would not stop me from renting again. Power washing the house and getting a 5th chair for the table would go a long way. I would give the house a 10 out of 10

The location is awesome. One step from a year round dog friendly beach. A rare find. This is a location to come to to get away and relax / away from the crowds as it is off the beaten trail. With that thought in mind the kitchen area becomes more important. While it served its purpose we are excited to see what Terry does to make even better when we return!

Overall my family had a very nice vacation here. We would come back again. The location is nice. The house is nice and spacious for the amount of people we had. The deck was very nice for outside relaxing. We had to cleen some cooking utensils and plates before using them. The path to the beach was very grown in and we had to break off some branches of the bushes to walk through. Also the head to the outside showe came off while my wife was using it and almost hit her. It went back on, but i don't think it is very secure. Aside from the small things, it it a very nice.place to stay.

Snow Goose, right on Broadkill Beach, was just perfect for a quiet friends' week for me and two girlfriends. The house is small and very nicely kept, and the location is a dream: on a quiet street, right down the way from the Broadkill Store and literally facing the bay, with easy access to a super-quiet sand beach. Plus, it's a really short, easy drive to Milton town center (with a small restaurants and cafes, Walgreens, a full-sized grocery and liquor store, etc.) and just a drive up the highway from the busier Lewes. Owner Terry was great, answering questions and making our stay easy. Recommend for anyone wanting a chill Delaware oasis outside of the more tourist-centric beaches!

We had a good time, good break from work, even with cold and rain.

The property is as pictured and offered everything in the description with very easy access to the beach. The fireplace has a sticker that says do not use, which was no concern during our summer visit. It was pretty clean although there were socks found under couches when I swept and cobwebs on light fixtures. The outside could use some power washing, though I understand it is end of season. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. Beds were not comfortable. The house does not supply bath mat or dish towels. The check-in was easy and communication with property manager was pleasant. We would not recommend this property because the sewer pipe is near the outside of the second bedroom window and occasionally makes the room smell like sewage. It was prevalent enough that my young boys did not want to be in the room and I initially crawled all over searching for dog poop, it was at times that strong. I had my children sleep in the living room floor while we were there. We left halfway through our trip. I did communicate with the property manager who came by to make sure there was no leakage and was very cordial. The manager refunded our pet fee as we did not end up bringing our dog. We appreciated that gesture. Lastly, the beach is at times swarmed with relentless biting flies, which has nothing to do with the property but I feel the need to warn other families. DEET is more necessary than sunscreen.

This was a very nice place. Everything you expect a beach house to be. A good place to be right on the beach and away from the crowds. We really enjoyed our stay.
