Serene Bay View, Steps to Broadkill Beach Relax and make memories for the books!

Our host was attentive, VERY helpful (when I realized last minute that I hadn't arranged for linens), and the house was very well equipped for cooking big meals. The beds were comfortable, the view was lovely and the beach was enjoyed. Great space! Beautiful home.

My family and I recently enjoyed a lovely four day stay at Jen‘s beautiful beach home. Everything we needed for a carefree vacation was provided by the host. The house was beautiful, clean and was the perfect setting for gathering together and enjoying one another’s company. Walking to the beach took just a few minutes. We all loved, kids and adults alike, frolicking in the water and playing on the sand. Amazingly, for mid September, the water was warm and inviting!Thanks Jen, for allowing us to make lasting family memories at your beautiful home!

Overall, an absolutely lovely time. A couple tiny bumps, but Jen was a delight to work with. Great house and great location, especially for families!

Great stay! Great house for big family!

Perfect for the adults featuring peace and relaxation and a great and well equipped house but too remote and quiet and dull for the teenagers. Accessing dining venues and shopping required driving into heavily congested over-developed towns further south. Though only less than twenty miles distant, those treks were the main negative of the week.

Wonderful home on nearly private beach! The home was plenty of space for our group. We spent lots of time on the screened in porch on the upper level which gave us a perfect view of the water. With small kids in our group the short walk to the beach was so helpful. Since this beach is marsh side you may run into some buggy days! Make sure some bug spray is in your beach bag along with sunscreen if there isn’t much of a breeze off the water. We had a little water pressure issue but the host responded and had it sorted and fully fixed within a few hours. We will absolutely look into booking again!

This house was the perfect place to spend a relaxing time with the whole family. It's close to the beach access too and the community was very friendly. I also love that it has 2 separate king bedroom so that multiple households can be comfortable. Overall, I can't wait to go back!

This is our third time staying here - beautiful house, easy walk to the beach, friendly owners. We hope to return again next year.

We wanted to experience renting a house near the beach and this was our first vrbo experience and it was a great experience! The house was big enough for a family of two or three with lots of spaces to move around. The decor was great and having the closed in porch was the highlight! The beach was a few walking steps from the house. I’m sure it would have been better if the weather was a little warmer. Overall this was a great house to rent if you want to be close to the bay/beach.

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We were across from the beach and had great views from our balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our group. Close to the beach and a fully stocked kitchen. Because the entire porch/deck area off the main living was completely screened in (yes, even under the deck planks) it was a bug free area to spend time and that's where we were most of the time. This was our second time visiting Broadkill Beach and I highly recommend this property for large families.

This was my first time staying in Broadkill despite living in Delaware for 37 years. I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery driving in and out from Route 1. I really enjoyed the slower pace beach experience (as compared with Lewes/Rehoboth/Dewey where you have to carve out a space for yourself). The house itself was great. We spent most of our time out on the screened porch just enjoying the views and the nice breeze we were lucky to have. We also enjoyed wiffle ball on the beach. The convenience store in town had some good coffee, breakfast sandwiches, sticky buns, donuts, ice cream, and additional supplies. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend this property to others. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!

This is a great house, footsteps from the beach, perfect for families or friends looking for a fun getaway. The location is a few miles north of the busier hustle and bustle of Rehoboth/Lewes offering a nice, quaint feel on the beach with only a few kind neighbors sharing it. The home is spacious, has comfortable beds, great bedroom spaces including a bunk room well suited for kids, and a fabulous common space on the top floor with a well-appointed kitchen. We loved the screened in deck with beautiful views of the water. The home comes with free use of recreational amenities (bikes, kayaks, inflatables, kids sand toys, sunshades, chairs, and beach wagons), which was a delightful bonus our crew enjoyed. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. We had a minor issue after checking in, reached out about it, and Jen was quick to respond offering appropriate options and remedies. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Awesome house super close to the beach with a very responsive host. Tons of beach gear and bikes included with the property which made vacation much easier. Very quiet and relaxing area, and only a short drive away from plenty of restaurants and shops. We didn’t want to leave!

This was our first family vacation in a VRBO property. We were pleasantly surprised by this clean, well-appointed home stocked with everything we needed including kitchen items, books, games, and beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. An easy walk to the beach.

The property was exactly as it was advertised. Owners were helpful. It’s a perfect place to get to the beach but stay away from the crowds of ocean city. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful visit. The house had everything we could need. It was clean and very well maintained. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. We loved the little community; the grandkids loved the general store—we made at least one trip per day.
