RARE Beachfront AND Wildlife Reserve Home in Broadkill Beach!

The location is spectacular- natural, beautiful, and peaceful. There are sunrise and sunset views from the decks. We saw over 30 species of animals during our stay. The house is well equipped for beach activities and meal prep. The layout is ideal for relaxing with family/friends. The owner provided excellent information in advance of our arrival and was very helpful and responsive to our questions during our stay.

Stayed 10 amazing days in October. Located on a quiet street, this home was perfect for 3 couples. Lots of room to spread out and views from every window. Kitchen was very well stocked and newer appliances made even stormy days a joy. Very comfortable beds. We hope to return soon

Really lovely house with great views from both the front and back. The house was confortable with lots of room for the family. There are plenty of beach supplies - chairs, umbrellas, a cart & bicycles to use. We had a great stay and hope to return next summer.

Great birdwatching

Our family enjoyed our stay at Renee’s lovely Broadkill Beach home! We dodged the many bouts of rain and thankfully had lots of beach time. The kids enjoyed the many toys and activities that were strategically stashed around the house. A plus for us this year was having lovely views from both sides of the house, and I particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife and appreciated the tranquility of the Wildlife Preserve.

This was a great house for our family. Our kids loved being able to walk to the beach and it was a quiet place to retreat to after a busy day. It was close to rehoboth and lewes for day trips. The house itself was beautiful and everything we needed. The host was great with communication before our stay and during. She provided recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. On our first night, we had an issue with gas to the stove and it was taken care off quickly and professionally. Everything else was perfect! We would definitely stay here again!

We love this house! The back screen porch is a secret hideaway. The views are unparalleled and we love the layout and all the gates. The gates kept the dog where we wanted them and were so convenient. Thank you for such a great birthday weekend!

Everything we experienced at this location was amazing and top notch! CLEAN, GREAT LOCATION, BEST MATTRESS USED FOR RENTAL PROPERTY ?, STEPS AWAY FROM PRIVATE BEACH AND REAR PIER DECK (Running water & light) FOR BUSY NATURAL ENTERTAINMENT ??. Also, quick and friendly communication from the person in charge of the property.

Beautiful and unique location. Right on the preserve. If you look out one window you see the preserve, the other window the Bay. House is lovely and beautifully maintained. The owner responded the same day when emailed/texted a question. We will return.

This was the perfect stay for our annual Broadkill vacation. Renee has it decorated so beautifully that it compliments the nature all around. Multiple decks and porches allow for the perfect reading, coffee, or cocktail spot. The views from either side of the house are breathtaking. The garage was stocked with everything you would need for the beach. The open floor plan kitchen/living room is set up for those that like to cook on vacation but don’t want to miss out! We’ve been coming to Broadkill for 20 years and the whole family says this was the best!

If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and breathe, this is it. The house was very clean and had so much to offer. Beds were comfortable. The screened porch was amazing for listening to the birds while enjoying the breeze. The upstairs front deck was my favorite for morning coffee and listening to the ocean waves. From the back deck, we watched eagles bring fish from the ocean to their platform every day, and one day, we even saw a heron catch a snake for breakfast! The top floor is all open, so it was perfect for our family to hang out while cooking, watching tv, etc. Flies can be an issue because of the marsh, but we found a website called The Damn Fly Meter to be super helpful! It tells you, on a scale of 1-10, how bad the flies are that day/hour. We used it to decide whether we wanted to walk across the road to the beach, or stay in and make frozen margaritas and have some shuffleboard battles. The house had everything we needed…we decided to bake cookies mid-week, and all the tools we needed were right there. Renee was super responsive and kind. Honestly, this was such a nice, low key, healing vacation, and I’d love to go back again and again.
