The Mission Beach beautiful bayviews! You will love this house!

What a wonderful stay we had at this home!! If you have young children it is perfect. My family all had a wonderful time. The owner communicated incredibly well. Could not ask for a better experience!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It is truly perfect and everything you need for a memorable beach vacation with family. It was clean, cozy and comfortable and we felt right at home. The owner is very responsive and helpful! Even with the weather being a bit finicky due to a hurricane, we still had an amazing time indoors and were able to play board games, grill and bake cookies. We would definitely book this place again! Highly recommend!

Mission Beach House is beach-side perfection! Perfectly appointed, spotlessly clean and spectacular views out of every window. This was our first time at Broadkill Beach and the host went above and beyond answering all our questions, setting us up for the most splendid family vacation! My only regret is we didn't stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay and amazing weather. The house was perfect for our needs. We loved the enclosed porch and spent most mornings and nights just relaxing with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The beach is so close and even during peak time it wasn’t overly crowded. I hope to return again next year!

Stunning. Beautiful views, Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I found it odd that all the reviews were overly positive but this place checks all the boxes and then some.Probably the most accurate description of a rental. The best communication with the owner of the house not some rental company conglomerate. You feel like your staying in someone's beach house because you are. The owners use it quite a bit and include so much for essentials, amenities and beach items. 10 out of 10.The little local Broadkill store is a nice bonus! Good breakfast sandwiches, pizza, and ice cream. They serve donuts as well on the weekends but we weren't there to try those out.If we venture back to the area the first place we'll look for availability is The Mission Beach House.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful property and the amazing hosts who allowed us to experience it! It was the cleanest, most comfortable, accommodating and gorgeous homes I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Thank you Gunnar and Dorothy for your hospitality and generosity!

My husband and I stayed here the weekend we got married, so I can confirm it works great as a makeshift honeymoon suite! Easy access, beautiful views, comfortable and clean house. I’d recommend to anyone.

Another amazing stay was had again this year. Can't say enough good things about it. Looking forward to coming back again next year.

As advertised. House is right in the beach. Two large bedrooms for adults. Room to sleep for kids. Very well stocked, including beach chairs, a kayak, various beach tents, and a beach cart. Everything you need for some on vacation. Definitely will book again

We loved our 5 day stay at the Mission House. It was a beautiful home and very spacious and accommodating for our family. We enjoyed our daily time on the beach and in the ocean. The views were amazing and the neighbors were all so kind. Gunnar was great as usual and quick to reply to any messages. He even called us on our way down to check on our arrival and to offer suggestions. One restaurant recommendation that we really enjoyed was for Raas in Lewes! Amazing food! Love every second and hope to come back next summer!

Everything was very clean and smelled very clean when we walked in. Location was excellent, a short walk over the berm to the beach that was much less occupied than others we have been to. Being able to wash up when we got back with the outside hose area was great. Shared beach amenities (wagon, toys, inflatable, shovels) were very nice. Private garage and parking was also much better than other locations. Very nice home and quiet neighborhood at the end of a road. Kid friendly. We are hoping this place is still available when we book next time!

We absolutely loved staying at this house! It was the perfect house for our family to spend the week. Our children are almost 6, almost 3, and 2 months. We didn’t stay close to the water last year and we regretted it big time. I cannot explain how nice it was to be steps away from the beach! The house was very nice and very clean! It had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt like celebrities while at the beach because of the privacy it offered! Also, staying bay side was great for the kids since the waves are very small; we couldn’t get our two oldest ones out of the water! We visited the Rehoboth boardwalk twice while there and also went to Dogfish Head Brewery! We had dinner one night at Thompson Island which was very family friendly! Easy drives to all! We will definitely be booking this property again!

It was just what we needed! The beach right down the street and much less crowded than ocean side but a nice evening drive if you wanted to get to the boardwalk. Able to enjoy the water and the beach with younger kids right out our back door. Easy access to get back inside and a great little neighborhood to walk! The layout of the house was spacious and has a great main area for hanging out together. Would highly recommend as a nice calm beach getaway for families!

Gorgeous house with all the amenities. Very child friendly ( possibly excepting stairs for very small ones) and extremely appealing design and convenience for adults. So many areas to lounge, including top terrace w view of the beach. Beds very comfortable. Water at the beach warm! Beach so perfect for children and fascinating to see all the horseshoe crabs coming in every evening. It’s a sanctuary for them. Adorable little neighborhood store walkable along the beach —excellent takeaway pizza! Host extremely accommodating and responsive. Cannot recommend more highly!
