Stayed Sep 16, 2017This house was in a wonderful location for exploring the Dordogne area, close to beautiful towns eg Sarlat, Domme, and with its own lovely views over the surrounding countryside. It was delightfully quiet and the terrace was ideal for a late afternoon drink. The owner was very welcoming. The house loses a star rating because a) the house was difficult to find, especially for non- French speakers b) prior to our stay, replies from the owner were not always prompt c) compared to other houses we have stayed in, the lack of basic necessities eg soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, wood for the BBQ and fire etc was noticeable. We needed to supply everything.

Stayed Apr 22, 2017This was a beautiful home in a PERFECT location - just minutes away from Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, and other stunning towns along the Dordogne river. The region is beautiful, as is the view from the terrace and upstairs windows. The owners were friendly and pleasant, though we had a little trouble contacting them/getting a reply to our emails before arriving. It was rather cold in the house, as the weather was unseasonably cold and the radiators were not on. Regardless, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the place.
