Stayed Jun 7, 2025We spent 5 days in the beautiful villa with its breathtaking views of the various castles and châteaux. Perfect place to explore the Dordogne with its great attractions and impressive nature. The house is excellently equipped and lovingly furnished. Michele the concierge is very helpful and can give lots of useful tips about the area. She was always quickly available and lovingly took care of everything. The concierge and villa are highly recommended.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024Best of both worlds; modern and tasteful interior with a rustic exterior. Fantastic property and our host communicated well throughout our stay. We had an issue with air conditioning in two bedrooms however we were made aware of this prior to booking (this was a last minute booking, ~24 hours prior to entry). Given more notice I am certain the host would have this resolved before entry. It did not detract from our stay either. We hope to stay again!

Stayed May 25, 2024The property is a converted tobacco barn set in a massive expanse of land, in a beautiful location. The photos are impressive but it looks even better when you actually get there! The pre-arrival communication and guidance from Steve (the agent) was excellent and we were met by one of his colleagues (Arnaud) to show us around the property, explaining how everything works. The house was absolutely amazing. We would highly recommend booking if you are contemplating a trip to the Dordogne. All bedrooms had there own bathroom, with one bedroom being accessible and on the Ground Floor. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. We all loved the pool and garden. The pool was warm and had a remote control cover for safety. The garden was big enough for games of football, cricket, and aerobe. Steve even arranged to get he grass cut for us whilst we were there! We saw plenty of hot air balloons flying over whilst we were sat out in the garden - a fantastic sight as they fly up / down the valley past the Chateaux'. The location was perfect. A very nice little restaurant just down the lane and a couple of beautiful villages just 3 minutes drive away. The market in Sarlat on a Wednesday morning is also well worth a visit. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed Aug 5, 2023The property was breathtaking, the best that we have stayed in over a ten year period. Huge windows, beautiful views, attention to detail (e.g. electronic shutters), pool...all magnificent. We feel so fortunate to have spent a week here. We even joined the hot air ballooners and had a flight over the house! Thanks Michèle, you were warm, welcoming and helpful.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023Wow, What a great house to stay in! Its modern with a very well equipped kitchen and everything you can wish for. 2 fridges, 2 freezers, even 2 dishwashers! Perfect for big groups with plenty of space. The bedrooms are very very spacious! What we could appreciate is that most bedrooms have automatic blinds so they are completely dark. The beds are very spacious too for a perfect sleep :-). The airco in every bedroom is a huge plus. The living room looks great. With the high ceiling, big windows, and a huge comfy couch as a bonus. The garden, well, what can I say. Even from the inside of the house the view takes your breath away. The view of the 3 nearby castles is so beautifull and so restfull. Certainly when dozens of hot air balloons fill the sky, wow! A view never to forget! The saltwater heated pool is an eyecatcher for sure. Its big with a very comfortable temperature ( 29 - 30 degrees in july ). The area wich houses the pool cover is perfect to sit, relax and read a book while the kids are playing. There are plenty of things to do around. A visit to one of the castles is a must. We prefer Castelnaud. Its big with breathtaking views and plenty of things to see. A must do is the guardens of Marqueyssac. It's just on top of the hill. A canoe trip on the Dordogne is a must also! We want to thank Michele for the wonderfull reception! We will not forget our stay in this perfect house. Don't hesitate to book your holiday here, you won't regret it!

Stayed Jul 29, 2023One of the best properties we have ever stayed in, exactly as imagined from the pictures. In a quiet local area but a great base for exploring. We visited Domme, La Roque-Gageac, Beynac and Sarlat. Had a lovely evening at the candlelight night at Jardins de Marqueyssac and also at the Sunday evening food trucks at Trait du Union both walking distance from the house. Michele was a great host, would definitely visit again.

Stayed Jul 30, 2022The property was excellent. Lovely design, superb pool and sunbeds. The open plan sitting/dining room was lovely, and it was easy to drop the blinds to keep the heat out when needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the barbecue very good. The Aircon was very efficient in all the bedrooms. The TV worked well for the limited times we used it and the WI-FI was excellent. We love the area but this time, the property made the holiday even more special for us and our extended family. Communication with Jamie (owner) before our visit was very good, and Michelle was outstanding in settling us in, and helping set us up. We had the most wonderful holiday.
