Great location! Beds are very noisy and they only provide you with a starter roll of toilet paper and paper towels. No shampoo or conditioner either

The home was nice and clean with a view straight to the ocean! Doug was very kind in explaining details about directions and tips for entering the home. Communication was great! Perfect location! Can't beat it, right next to everything!! Literally

This place is perfect. It is right on the beach in the best location, and within walking distance to everything. It was spotless and adorable and has everything you need. The property manager is the nicest guy and so friendly and easy to work with. I will stay here again and again.

Location was absolutely perfect and the views were gorgeous. I knew the location well and was curious how loud being close to the round about and Pier would be at night, and it was still quiet within the home. Would definitely stay again.

The owner was great to work with. The home was very nice and clean and just what we needed. We loved being on the beach front, very close to the pier, and very close to the restaurants and shops.

2nd time we have booked the property and will not be the last time. We definitely become an annual event for our family of four. Zero issues, great location perfect size for 4 people. Doug is easy to work with and look forward to our next visit.

Location, location, location.

You cannot beat this location. Its so convenient to food, restaurants and to be able to walk out the front door and be on the beach is exactly as advertised. Doug, the owner called with perfect instructions and directions.

Had a blast! The parking is a bit tight so be aware that your lifted truck with oversized wheels are not going to fit. The beach is just out the front door and the porch is amazing to people watch. We got to watch some mounted police hand out citations to ignorant tourists and give others some friendly warnings. No flavored tobacco or nicotine products are available in California so be aware if you’re hooked. Honestly though, I took this trip as an opportunity to stop using nicotine so thanks for that!Would recommend and will return!

The location alone was 10/10. We woke up and got our coffees next door and sat on the beach. It was absolutely perfect!

We had a lovely long weekend and were very pleased with the rental!Everything we needed was inside and although we brought beach chairs, there was three inside the closet of one of the bedrooms.If you’re a coffee drinker, bring your Krups pods. A machine is there. We chose to walk just a short distance to the donut shop.

Loved the property location as it was super close to the shops, restaurants and bars. Only complaints are bed had sand in it, which made me think they weren’t washed before we arrived. Had to take bed apart and shake all sand out of the sheets. Owner said starter toilet paper is supplied but there was literally a few squares left on the roll and nothing is worse than running out of toilet paper 10 minutes after arriving on vacation and mid wipe. Had to Instacart toilet paper for our stay, so when they say starter it literally means starter and you may not have enough to finish on your first potty break. Would stay here again but would bring toilet paper and probably bring my own clean sheets.

We rented this beach side house for 3 days. The accommodations were as described and the property was perfectly located for exploring the Balboa Peninsula. Doug, the owner was very friendly and called prior to our check in to review particulars of the property which was extremely helpful. He is a great host!We hope to stay again very soon.

Right on the ocean next to great bars and restaurants. Perfect to walk along the boardwalk or relax on the beach.

Great place. Just sit and enjoy the ocean. Or go around corner and pick several restaurants with great food. Chili Charlies and Baja Lobster thee best

The unit is a bit dated but nice. Location is great. Communication was smooth. We stayed at bottom unit and we had an inconsiderate neighbor upstairs. It was quite disturbing when they were walking and moving furniture at 5 am daily. Although Doug was a nice host and tried his best to help, rent the bottom unit at your own risk.

Everything from the booking, check-in, and check out process was perfect. The location is amazing walking out the door to stroll the board walk, walk the pier, or go to a restaurant was simple and convenient. We can't wait to go back and bring the rest of the family.

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house so much! The owner communicated everything on how to get there and where to park. The location can't get any better either. The pier is steps away from the front door. There are tons of restaurants, surf shops, coffee shops, bike rentals, literally a few steps away. We really didn't need to drive too much because there was a lot to do in the area within walking distance. There was even a little farmers market on a Sunday that was selling all kinds of cool things nearby the house. Had an awesome time! Thanks Doug!

My happy place is Balboa, yet I haven’t been back in over 26 years & really planned for this 60th birthday. I came across this rental & it was everything that it said it would be. Cozy, right on the beach &very spacious for myself, my husband & my parents. The owner was extremely accommodating & answer all my texts & calls! We will definitely be back! It’s was perfect.

Property is in an amazing location and Hosts are amazing. We had an unexpected emergency the day of check in and they were very accommodating and kind! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
