OWL HOUSE RIVER RETREAT AT OLD COLORADO INN

Our family had a wonderfully restful weekend at the Owl House. This home is in a beautiful location on the St. Lucie River along with walking distance to everything. The staff was very welcoming and the home was perfect for us. We all would love to visit again!

The house is incredible. We enjoyed our stay. We had a girl's Golf trip in the Stuart area. The house was perfect location for restaurants, bars, shops, golf courses. We walked everywhere. Evenings outside near the water was great. The house large enough for everyone to have a room. I highly recommend it for families, reunions, friend trips, etc.

Amazing host, beautiful and relaxing home, and a stunning view. We had a spectacular getaway that was the perfect combination of VRBO spaciousness with exceptional hotel hospitality.

The owner, Steven Vitale, met us to give a tour of the house when we arrived, which was most appreciated. We had a delightful stay for three nights. The house was clean, had all the amenities you could ask for and had an incredible view of the St. Lucie River. Staff replenished the coffee pods and water bottles daily. The character of the house was amazing with the unique ceiling lines, furniture, artwork, cozy backyard area with chairs, benches, picnic table and fire pit. Lastly, I cannot tell you how nice the Vitale family was to deal with. You can be assured that if there is any need or problem you experience while staying at the house, it will be addressed. To top it off, the historic area of Stuart is a nice place to visit. The Nowik, Shedlock and Johnson Families Eastern Pennsylvania

The owl house is perfect for a big family reunion. There are lots of living rooms to hang out in especially if you rent the whole house. There are 2 sides…one side is renovated and has a very spacious master bathroom and bedroom that leads to the patio. There is also a room on this side with queen bed that has a renovated bathroom right outside the bedroom. The actual OWL house side is historic and older. The outdoor space is great with a patio jacuzzi and fire pit. Also lots of sitting and tables to gather. I loved that it is right on the water and close to everything in downtown Stuart. We all enjoyed morning walks along the river too. It’s was also nice having house keeping with fresh towels each day too. Usually with VRBO rentals you don’t get this service but since this house is associated with the old Colorado Inn we did. The staff couldn’t be nicer and were very accommodating

Convenient amenities …walking distance to downtown two refrigerators with automatic ice dispensers, hot tub, outdoor grill , and great air-conditioning!

We had a great stay this past weekend at the Owl House and Old Carolina Inn...Steven and his staff were great...great views of the river and the fire pit was a big hit! Perfect for a family reunion...

Held our family reunion here. Nine people stayed comfortably and we thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and enjoyed the beautiful location and walk ability to bars restaurants, etc. we all enjoy the comfortable beds and the beautiful linens. House was spotless when we got there and it was cleaned every morning. We have already rebooked for next year.
