Stayed Nov 4, 2024The Sweet Homes property manager was just a text away. When our code at the door didn't work we had immediate help. The fenced in yard was fantastic for our dog. The house bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs are great for privacy. The beach walks every day with two access points are great. We also played foos ball and ping pong every day in the garage. It was wonderful to have these activities at the house. There are TVs in every room if you want to watch something separately. We did not use the hot tub, but it is set up in a great spot. The kitchen is set up well with everything you will need. Overall, it was wonderful and we would recommend it

Stayed Jul 31, 2024This home was perfect for our family of Mom, Dad and Adult children with two dogs. The backyard is fenced so the pets can run free. Access to the beach is an easy and beautiful walk. And we had that beach practically to ourselves so the pups could run free. The home itself is wonderfully appointed and super comfortable. This is the second time we've stayed here and we expect to return.

Stayed Jun 29, 2024I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. My husband, daughter, and chocolate lab enjoyed our week here. First off the location is perfect and very dog friendly. The beach access is a simple walk and then you are treated to a huge stretch of beach that is never crowded and often unoccupied (a dog owner dream). The property itself was extremely clean, fully stocked with anything a renter could want including kites, games, hot tub, ping pong, etc. I had worried about cleanliness with this being a pet friendly property but the cleaning was top notch. Check in and check out were easy breezy, no issues and communication through text was prompt. Huge plus for those with pets is the fenced in backyard. Numerous day trips are possible from this Newport area home but we found ourselves often wandering the beach during the day, grilling on the provided BBQ at night, enjoying the surf from the deck, and unwinding in the hot tub before watching a movie (lots of movies onsite to choose from) before bed. Can't wait to stay again.

Stayed May 24, 2024We were lucky to have amazing weather, so we didn't have time to take advantage of the fun games like Ping Pong, but the extra space and hot tub were much appreciated. The beautiful walk to a very quiet beach is also super cool.

Stayed May 18, 2024Property is well thought out, has a good layout, is stocked with everything you will need, and is very clean. Décor is much nicer and more modern than other coastal places. Views are amazing and access to very private beach is easy. They might want trim down the vegetation at cliff for a little better view though. Our stay was nearly perfect with 2 exceptions. The 3 barking dogs next door to the right that go all day long and the lack of cell phone reception. The house is in a dead zone. They do provide a land line though. When we got there, we met Brianna who was just wrapping things up at the house. She was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Overall, we loved our stay, highly recommend, and hope to come back.

Stayed Jan 13, 2024A very beautiful home. Loved the hot tub and the view and everything else about it. Very comfortable beds and furniture. We got stuck here during the ice storm, and it was a beautiful place to be. The owners were great about letting us extend our time. Wish we could’ve stayed much longer.

Stayed Sep 7, 2023Did not receive the door code before arrival/check-in time. We had to drive away from the property to get cell service in order to call Home Sweet Home and receive a code to enter. Home was extremely clean, very pretty, outstanding view, nice game room and backyard. Great access to path to the beach. Comfortable beds and pillows. Kitchen nicely stocked with everything needed to cook, serve and eat. Lower level shower had lukewarm water, not hot.

Stayed Jul 9, 2023We rent a beach house on the Oregon coast twice a year (at least). Of all the houses this one had the best beach. almost never anyone but us on the beach except the whales and seals. The house itself was perfect except the cable on the TV keeps glitching which was almost impossible to keep up on the news. Which is okay for a week or so. The only odd thing about the house is the counters were built for an NBA player. Ridiculously high. Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants but also perfectly quiet.

Stayed Jun 30, 2023For a family get together, this is the place! Location is amazing! Short walk to beach for walks, run, or play. Quick drive into Newport or other sights. Great home layout plus games to play like Ping Pong, Foosball, and board games. Come to relax and the place is really well outfitted in the kitchen. We have stayed there twice now.

Stayed Jun 26, 2023We stayed here with our son and daughter-in-law and our 8 year old granddaughter. The house was wonderful. The check in was so easy on the tablet and the home felt warm and welcoming right away. It was exceptionally clean and every amenity was provided, including a lovely hot tub with a view of the ocean. We had a couple of questions about the beach access which we texted to the property managers and we received a helpful response immediately. And the views! Just spectacular. Opened the sliding doors at night and we were lulled to sleep by the waves. We will definitely return and plan for another magical vacation!
