Remodeled in 2017, upscale 3,200 square feet house, perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Embrace nature as you relax in the great room or soak in the hot tub watching as birds soar overhead and whales are often spouting.

Well equipped kitchen with all new appliances, gas cooktop, large granite island, bar-top with 3 adjustable barstools and watch the waves breaking as you stand at the kitchen sink. Plank dining table seats 10+. Game table for cards or a perfect place to complete your 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.

Pets and events are NOT allowed at this house. Owner has allergies, please choose another rental if this is an issue for you.

Children are welcome but house is NOT baby proofed. There are baby gates provided for stairs. Children must be supervised at all times, especially because of the location of the house (on a cliff) and the proximity to the beach.

Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms/laundry room and murphy bed in the great room. Downstairs has bunk bed room and a full bathroom.

Beach Access:
Access to beach comes off our driveway. Walk to beach or drive down a steep paved drive to a private parking lot, reserved for local home owners, then access to the beach is across a wooden bridge on Grant Creek. This access can be slippery especially in the winter time, so use caution. In the winter check the tide schedule to make sure that there is plenty of beach to walk on. If the tide is too high on the beach when you wish to walk you can always drive to Nye Beach. On low tide hunt for agates, petrified shells, fish in the surf, relax and read a book, kids love to play in the creek and build sand castles. You can also ride our older beach bikes on the beach. Bring your own bike helmets.

Our Surfland house is conveniently located 5 minutes to Oregon Coast Aquarium, Rogue Brewery and Distillery, and Mark Hatfield Science Center to just name a few highlights of the area.
Going north over the iconic Yaquina Bay bridge you can visit many gift/art shops and find excellent resturants along the Old Bay Front.
Historic Nye Beach is about a 10 minute drive from the house with more great shops and restaurants, art galleries, preforming arts center and Nye Beach.
On the North end of town make sure to visit the scenic Yaquina Head Lighthouse.

Housekeeping needs a full day of cleaning time to accommodate laundry for our vacation rental. Therefore, we cannot have same day check-in and check-out. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Our house is equipped with 4 outdoor security cameras. They face the opening doors (your back is to the camera when facing the door) and the parking lot. There is a $1000 fine for tampering with these cameras and not following house rules as stated in our contract and security deposit.

We absolutely do not allow events or pets of any kind. Please do NOT choose our house to rent if you cannot abide by these rules. There are rentals in the area without security cameras that have different rules.

We have worked very hard to renovate this classic coastal home. Please help us maintain it during your stay.
