Beautiful Oceanfront Retreat With Easy Private Beach Access

This place is a masterpiece! The view out the all the windows is magnificent. Close to the beach. Quiet. Perfect. Will stay again :)

This rental is in a great location about 2 miles south of town on the last lot of a subdivision, so there is nice privacy with a stellar view. The upstairs has been renovated, but the downstairs feels a bit sad. I gave four stars due to the insensitive reno on what was at one time an original mid-century with great potential (sorry I'm a designer), the lack of attention to the lower level, and a long wait to do the laundry before being able to check out. At this price point, guests shouldn't have to do the housekeeping as well. Overall a decent place though.

Walk through the front door and you’re gobsmacked by the boffo ocean view! Once internalized, you realize you’ve just rented a special place. Quiet, private, did I say quiet...all you hear is the cacophony of ocean waves and a distant fog horn. Get used to it. -cleanliness-impeccable -beds-lulled to blissful sleep -linen-abundant towels, additional blankets. All quality linen -kitchen-As a cookbook review editor, I know what it takes to produce a proper meal. This kitchen does not disappoint. Even appropriate glasses for different wines, martinis. Cookware in good condition and plentiful. Abundant service. My food rec: avoid South Beach Food Market. Although they have a constant stream of people out the door, I found their fish extremely greasy. Do hit: Gracie’s Sea Hag, Depoe Bay for excellent fish & chips & chowder. NB: Appreciate owner’s playfulness w/supply of peanuts to share w/friendly, begging jays who peck at the door to remind you they want a treat.

The property was perfect for our week long stay. The kitchen is well stocked, the amenities were very comfortable, and you feel the hosts have put a lot of care into making the space easy to use and enjoy. We loved our stay here and would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay on the beach. We could see and hear the ocean from any room, it was a dream!

We rented this house for a mini family reunion. The pictures and description are very accurate and the owners are responsive and very easy to communicate with. The view (and access) to the what felt like our private beach was the highlight. If you like to cook, the kitchen is very well equipped. I would definitely rent this property again if I find myself in the area. Thanks Ann and Brian….and Ian?

This stay included my family, my brother's family and our Dad. We had a wonderful time! The house was absolutely spotless and beautiful! It had the most gorgeous views throughout! Our dad really enjoyed just relaxing and watching the ocean (and all the birds that would come to visit). We would love to come back again!! And would recommend this home over and over again!!!

I have stayed in a lot of rentals, and I have to say this is one of the best! There are so many wonderful things about this property. I’m sure I will miss some thing. It is a beautiful house and a wonderful location with a spectacular view! The house itself was very clean (I am very picky), has everything you could need and is a perfect layout for guests with lots of space for gatherings or privacy. The deck is wonderful with a great view of the ocean, and a wonderful, hot tub to soak in. We also had a lot of fun feeding peanuts to the squirrel and stellar jays. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet with a Beach Access right down the street that we really enjoyed walking on daily. We were very sad to leave and would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I and our son and daughter-in-law met in Newport for a weekend getaway. This home met our expectations and much more! Unsurpassed views, more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms. Spacious, well stocked kitchen. Amazing ocean views from the dining room as we ate meals. Breathtaking views of the ocean throughout the home! Very clean home with comfortable beds. This home is the perfect blend of 60’s architectural vibe with modern updates, renovations and beautiful home decor. The owners were very prompt and helpful with our inquiries. We definitely want to come back to this home again soon!
