Stayed Aug 16, 2025A lovely stay in a perfect place for our family. Superbly located to be able to see all the amazing things there are to see in the area supported by the lovely family and owners of the property.The owners cared about our stay and were very keen to help us and support questions, but most of all were lovely and we even had the pleasure of meeting their grandchildren.Also, Carlux is a lovely spot and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the annual Crepes festival.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025Apartment was clean and airy. Two good size bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with indoor seating area. Also there is a nice seating area outside. Pool was kept in excellent condition by the host. The location is very good for exploring the Dordogne area. Excellent hosts too. Merci Beaucoup, Yves et Nadia.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024The property is high quality and very clean with a very nice swimming pool set in pretty, well cared for gardens. The property owners are lovely and very helpful. Nice restaurant and pizza take away close by and the village of Carlux is beautiful with many amenities.

Stayed Sep 3, 2022Spacious, clean, well equipped property in beautiful surroundings. Lovely pool. Two restaurants within 200 yards one with lovely views over the Dordogne. Nadia the owner went to a lot of trouble to describe the best places to visit in the area. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Stayed Jun 8, 2022A wonderful property. The photograph does not do it justice. Everything was to the highest standard and carefully thought out. Parking was easy and the swimming pool was very good. We were given plenty of information about places to visit and there are many. You can use a footpath above the grounds of the property to walk to the banks for the Dordogne river where there are two restaurants. Simple food but good. The property was difficult to find and some in depth instructions or a small map would have been helpful. All in all, a perfect short break. We would certainly like to return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The communication with the owners was always good. The property is well kept; on one side of the house there is the living room, a table to eat and the kitchen which has a dishwasher and a washing machine. On the other half of the house are 2 large bedrooms and the bathroom. The bed was confortable. I am only giving it 4 stars because it mostly faces the driveway and the owner's house is just across. So it is not very private once you open the windows. We did not get to use the pool because it needed repairs. As with most french rentals, you have to pay extra for linens and towels, and cleaning.
