Ground-floor duplex half-block from beach with patio & W/D - dog-friendly

Amenities that are provided are well used to say the least. Furniture is stained. We had to endure a roof leak when it rained (we were on the first floor!). No can opener provided. And, the sliding glass door/screen door entry is terrible.

Location is great. Easy access to the beach.

Great location. Easy communication with property manager. Clean enough for a beach house. Only negative was the beds were not comfortable. I would pick a different place next time because of the beds.

Great location, great property overall. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was such a perk and then to have an extra one was such a surprise! One of the showers was tiny but my little kids used it and thought it was fun being their size. Being just half a block from the beach was great. The property was clean other than the garbage disposal had rotten food in it that was collecting multiple flies and making it smell when we first checked in. We cleaned it out and it got much better. The front door is a slider that has broken blinds which isn’t the most convenient but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. Great beach chairs and toys for the kids as well! We rented this property after the original one we rented ended up being a total failure and filthy and we were so much happier here!

This house is right across the street from the beach and only a short walk to stores and restaurants. The furniture and kitchen amenities could use an update but you can’t beat the location. It is also nice to have 4 full bathrooms.

Everything about the bottom floor of this house was great! Each room had its own FULL bathroom, the house was very clean and spacious. Just a step away from the beach... it couldnt have been better! We will stay again for sure!

The property location is excellent; our favorite thing about this place! You should know it is managed by Vacasa, so after you book with vrbo, you'll get communication from Vacasa. There are plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms. Bed comfort is ok, but if you love a one-minute walk to the beach, it's a great trade-off. There were two things that kept me from reviewing 5 stars: the entry way and couches. The main entry way is a sliding glass door covered by blinds; both are hard to manage and require gentle handling yet assertive tugs to open and close. This is not convenient for guests if it's the only entry point. The couches were dirty and not suitable for comfort and resting. This is disappointing because no one wanted to sit on the couches, which were a huge part of the sitting area. Other than that, the location is truly what makes this property a gem... so close to the beach!

We’ve stayed at this house a couple times. The location is perfect! Away from the bigger crowds and right by the beach. The house has lots of bathrooms which is awesome! The beds are not comfortable so it took several days to be able to sleep decent till we could get used to them but that is common with beach houses. We loved all of the towels and beach towels, and the ironing board and iron. The fridge is nice and big. Loved the big patio to put all of our beach stuff and bikes we brought. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is ideal! A true beach house. Our family had a great vacation!

Loved the location.. just steps from sand… could hear the ocean from front patio… great neighborhood… Clean place with nice shower amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body soap.. lots of clean towels for shower, lots of beach towels… Screen slider on main door needs to be replaced.. doesn’t slide very well and makes it difficult to open and shut…My biggest gripe is that the unit doesn’t have cable TV which was a BIG disappointment.. I didn’t realize it until I called the property management to get assistance on how to figure out the remote and get it on TV mode. that’s when they told me There wasn't cable only internet

This house was very clean, a wonderful size, and SO close to the beach! Having 4 bathrooms was a huge bonus! It is in a great area of Newport Beach. Not too crowded and close to everything. Enjoyed ourselves immensely!
