Just a half block from the beach, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage exudes California coastal charm and it offers private garage parking.

Enter the bright and pristine cottage from the large bricked patio through an inviting Dutch door. The living room décor in soft neutral tones flows into the open-concept kitchen with Carrera marble counters and bright white cabinets providing ample storage and counter space for all your cooking needs. The built-in kitchen island seats guests with a white wooden bench to pull up for seating for more, perfect for those family game nights. With two smart TV's, there will be plenty of streaming options at the end of an active day at the beach! The beautiful furnishings provide a relaxing California beach experience with all the functional amenities needed for enjoying your stay in Newport!

The expansive brick patio in front feels like resort living with its classic black and white décor. This includes a large table with an umbrella plus complementary nearby seating featuring two park-style benches and two Adirondack chairs. The large gas grill is ideal for BBQing for the whole crew.

Step outside onto the back patio to find the conveniently located laundry closet with a stacked washer/dryer (shared with unit B) and plenty of room for surfboards, boogie boards, and hooks for hanging towels after a fun day at the beach.

Swim, surf, boogie board, body surf, skim-board, or sunbathe – the beach at 40th Street is perfect for all this and more! Jetties keep the surf manageable for most of the year and shape the waves to make the beach here more family-friendly.

The peninsula’s only grocery store and dozens of shops and eateries are all just a short walk away. The new Lido Marina Village boasts high-end shopping and dining within walking distance as well as electric boats, paddleboards, and kayak rentals.

Exploring the peninsula by bicycle or on foot is easy via the boardwalk. The Newport Pier is a short stroll from the property, with dozens of shops and local eateries.

This cottage offers an ideal location for exploring all the area has to offer!

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    Had a great time. The beds and pillows could use an update. Pillows are all very flat and beds are pretty soft. Linens (duvet covers) were mildly stained (probably make up). Just one kitchen towel provided, plenty of beach and shower towels. Furniture is all pretty basic and not comfortable at all. Outdoor furniture is nice, and more comfortable than the inside. The place is kind of beat up inside, but it was a great location and quiet at night. We don’t think it was worth the price we paid. Garage super narrow and difficult to get in, if you rent a car it needs to be a small one. There was a car parking on the opposite side of the alley that made it nearly impossible to get into.

    The beach cottage was lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed having an outdoor space to sit and relax. Although we didn’t use the kitchen beyond the refrigerator and coffee pot, it seemed well-stocked with everything needed for cooking. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and grocery store.
