Please note that the upper and lower units are separate residences and are rented individually. Some guests like to rent both.

    We were looking for a place for 7 months and were fortunate enough to stumble upon this place. It is normally booked, so we were very lucky. It is the BEST location on balboa island! It is a short walk to restaurants, shops and pier one way and Huntington Beach the other way. Your backyard is literally the beach/ocean. You walk right out your door onto the boardwalk or sand/beach. It is very relaxing and the perfect place to rejuvenate. And, we LOVE Jane and Bill - the owners! They are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are extremely responsive and go out of their way to pamper you and ensure you have everything you need, including providing coals to BBQ and logs for the fireplace to enjoy on cold evenings. The view and sunsets are breathtaking! It's so exciting every time we see the dolphins! It is all about the location, lifestyle, sightseeing and phenomenal views! We have grown quite accustomed to the beach lifestyle and it will be difficult to leave! I've told them they may have to evict us! :)

    This was just what the doctor ordered! We really needed a break from it all and Jane made it happen. She was point on when she said best location in Newport Beach. We parked our car in the garage when we arrived and did not need it the whole week! We walked to the market, several restaurants, the pier, even the church was walking distance. The house was perfect for our family, even our little Pebbles loved it. We will definitely be back :)

    My family and I had such a wonderful time during our stay in Newport. The house was beautiful and the views were absolutely stunning. I truly enjoyed drinking my coffee out on the balcony watching the dolphins each morning. Without a doubt we will be returning!!!

    We had such a great family vacation!! Jane was a pleasure to work with and the house was everything we needed. We could walk every where! Restaurants, the pier, the market, bars... Can't wait to come back. Barbequing and relaxing the whole family had the best time ever!!

    Our family of four stayed here for two months during a remodel of our home. The place was completely furnished and whatever we needed, was provided by the friendly owner. We will absolutely rent this beach house again. Hearing the sounds of the ocean every minute was so relaxing.

    We stayed in this house for 2 nights in October. The place is absolutely awesome. We had 4 adults, an infant and a dog and can't imaging a more perfect place to stay. Right on the beach and boardwalk, walking distance from the pier, a supermarket and the amazing Bear Flag Fish Company. Jane was excellent as well. This was a last minute rental and she was very easy to get in touch with and responded to emails and calls very promptly. She did everything possible to make renting easy and our stay outstanding. Overall a 5 star experience. We will be back!

    This was our first time renting on the boardwalk and had a great time. The owners were very easy to work with. Walking distance to the Newport Pier, shopping strip and restaurants was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

    This was my 5th year staying in this particular house with my friends. Ownership has recently changed, for the better. The new owner, Jane, is wonderful and makes sure your stay is also wonderful. The location of the house is perfect, right on the sand, walking distance to Vons and The Bear Flag Fish Co (very fresh fish, for the bbq), and walking distance to numerous restaurants. The house has a large living room with patio doors opening out to the beach, perfect for watching the sun setting next to Catalina island. For the price, this is the best oceanfront pad on the peninsula, bar none.
