Stayed Aug 5, 2024The house is great for families coming in for Cooperstown tournaments. It is about 20 minutes to All Star Village. They have a cart for helping you move in/out from bunkhouses! We were 6 adults and 3 children, all fit into the bedrooms. Mary was very nice and quick to answer our questions and help. Overall the house was clean but it is not well maintained. The basement door a seal is broken, so water came into the basement during rain storms. There is a dehumidifier in the basement but it needs to be manually emptied, so not effective. One adult in our party was having an allergic reaction to mold. The first level of the house does not have air conditioning. The upstairs bedrooms have window units. The queen bedroom does not have privacy curtains. We lost hot water for a day, Mary was responsive and did work to get this repaired quickly. The hot tub had debris and green water. Some windows did not have screens, some screens were hanging out, there are spiderwebs on the outside of some windows. Lightbulbs were missing. One lamp in the playroom had a broken switch but was still turning on, seemed like a fire hazard so we unplugged it. The house is very roomy but the dining furniture can not accommodate large groups to sit together. Dining room table sits 4 and eat in kitchen table sits 4.

Stayed Aug 25, 2023Our group of friends needed a place to meet up to go to a concert at Ommegang, and a place to hang out afterward, and stay the night. This house was perfect for us. It’s huge and clean and our last night drive home was only 15-20 minutes. We’re so happy to have found a great place to stay.

Stayed May 17, 2023Lovely home in the woods! Very private, with lots of light and space. Great location for us between Oneota and Cooperstown. Wish we had more time to get out on the kayaks, but we did enjoy the hot tub! Mary was extremely prompt and pleasant in all communications. There are no ground floor bedrooms, if you are travelling with people that don’t like stairs! Our extended family really enjoyed our time there.
