This adorable sweet Cape Cod property, with 2 homes (one in the front and another in the back), is reminiscent of past vacations spent visiting family and friends on the Cape. Experience this property's quintessential Cape Cod charm as you pull into A Whale's Tale of a Time on Cape Cod, and prepare for a week of fun in the sun. The backyard is perfect for making memories that carry on for generations: enjoying great barbecues, hanging out around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows, savoring your favorite cocktail.
Close to Ocean Beaches
Deciding what beach to go to is your biggest decision at Whale's Tale on Cape Cod, with many southside ocean beaches from which to choose and Seaview Beach (1 mile) a short 3 minute drive by car. Other beach options close by include: Parker's River Beach (1.2 miles, 4 minutes by car), Thatcher Park Beach (1.4 miles, 4 minutes by car), popular South Middle Beach (1.1 miles, 4 minutes by car), Smugglers Beach (1.5 miles, 5 minutes by car).
Front Cottage
The front cottage has a wonderful living room right when you walk in loaded with a large smart flat screen TV, games, and plenty of couch space for the whole group. On the left side of the home is where you will find both bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with bunk beds (top is a twin bed, bottom is a full bed). As you make your way to the fully equipped kitchen, you will find the full bathroom (with a tub/shower) in the hallway.
Exiting the back door of the front house you will walk right into a large, level and beautiful backyard where there is an outdoor table with plenty of seating, grill, a fire pit, and of course, the must-have outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
Rear Cottage
Just past the outdoor table and fire pit, is the rear cottage which has an additional bedroom (king bed), bathroom (with a shower stall), another living room with a large TV, and another fully equipped kitchen with a large kitchen island. The back house also has a stackable washer and dryer for guest use. There is a sliding glass door between the living room and kitchen which leads to an additional patio area with its own table and chairs. The unique layout can allow for some privacy from the group while outside or enough space for the whole group to enjoy time together.
What's Nearby
Everything is located within a mile from the property, making this location ideal. There is much you can walk to as well, if walking is something you enjoy. For example, nearby attractions include mini-golf, batting cages, and an arcade with two ice cream stores from which to choose. There are oh-so many restaurants nearby including famous Captain Parker's Pub for some of the best seafood and chowder on the Cape, Keltic Kitchen for a hearty breakfast and lunch, Andrea's West Yarmouth Fish & Lobster Market for the freshest seafood, or Seafood Sam's, a local seafood shack chain serving lobster rolls and fried seafood, just to name a few. And all these choices are just around the corner!
There's so much fun to be had for all ages at the Cape Cod Inflatable Park, which is a couple miles away. If you want to stay in and enjoy a meal at the cottage, everything you'll need is provided.
With its nice calming and relaxing atmosphere, both homes are one floor and equally warm and inviting, with new furniture and a freshly painted interior. Be prepared to have a whale's tale of a time and enjoy a vacation filled with memories of sun, sand, surf...and seafood.

Two cottages make this am ideal site for extended family. My mother and I stayed in the main house, and my sister and her S.O. stayed in the other. It afforded us the ability to vacation together, but we also had some privacy. Great location,

Adorable cottage - more than anything you could need provided! We wish we packed less for the beach. You had everything :). Lovely area, beautiful flowers and we loved the fire pit at night. About 1 mile to restaurants, mini golf and a cute beach. While there we took in Chatham, Hyannis and Martha’s Vineyard - all close enough for sure! Thanks again :)

My family had a wonderful experience at Shambala! During the day, we enjoyed short walks to the beach through quiet neighborhoods. At night, we had fun around the firepit in the cozy backyard. We look forward to visiting again!
