Fully fenced, 1/2 acre, dog friendly in downtown Abingdon!

This was our 3rd stay and we just cannot say enough good things about this lovely home and the town of Abingdon! The hosts are wonderful, very communicative and helpful. The home is perfect. This was our first stay during warm weather and we found ourselves sitting on the front porch with coffee to see the sunrise and with wine on the back deck at night for sunsets. We had the best weekend and made so many memories. Bonus- our 2 fur babies thoroughly enjoyed running in the expansive backyard!

I would love to just keep this gem to myself but sharing is caring after all. We had the best weekend snowed in at this cozy home in Abingdon. Every detail was attended to including treats and toys for the dogs and a welcome cookie cake in my son’s school colors. This was probably the best stocked home we have stayed in too. I was concerned about little things like coffee because we were expecting bad weather. However, we arrived to a lovely home well stocked with all the essentials and did not even need to venture out to the store. We have already booked a return trip! I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owners. I would give them a 10 star rating if that was possible!

Not only was this the most well equipped and comfortable rental we’ve EVER had, the hosts left us treats and fruit knowing we were in town for a funeral, with a sweet card. Our dog, kids, and adults all would love to stay here again. Thank you for going the extra mile!

The house was perfect for our needs. Fully stocked with anything you might need, nicely decorated, very homey and comfortable. Convenient location with quick and easy access to the downtown area. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The house and yard are very comfortable, with lots of special touches, such as snacks (for both humans and dogs). We visited over the Christmas holiday and the house was decorated with a tree, which was really nice! The location is perfect for downtown Abingdon.

We had no dealings with the host. The home was very nice. The only problem we has was the guest in the basement bedrooms froze the first night. We had the fireplace on the first floor on which caused the air conditioner to turn on to reach the set point for the thermostat. We had no problems after we switched the thermostat from auto to manual.

We were in town for Trail Days 2025 (Damascus.) Our party included three adults and our two Jack Russells. This house is so well appointed and so so very comfortable. We were all so very comfortable, including the dogs who had so much fun playing in the large-sized backyard. On all our trips, this was by far my favorite kitchen to cook a big meal in on one of the nights! We watched a movie on the projection screen upstairs one night. That was fun!!The back patio swing is like a swaying bed. We loved it! Thank you for your hospitality!

We had another fabulous visit and brought my Wife’s sister with us this time. The home is beautiful, the owners have done a great job remodeling. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay as well. We will definitely be back.

From the moment you walk into this home you feel the warmth and notice the attention to detail at every turn. Very well equipped, beds are comfortable and the overall house is spectacular. Owners are very responsive and want their guests to enjoy their stay. We would definitely stay at this home again. The best dog friendly home on VRBO!

We had a wonderful time visiting Abingdon and seeing a play. The home was perfect for cooking meals together and watching basketball! I just wish my brothers had brought their dogs because it is a haven for your dogs!

The house was perfect. It’s clean, beautiful, and supplied with everything you need to hang out and relax, cook a full meal, and give your dogs plenty of exercise running around in the huge backyard. It’s walking distance to Main Street and close to restaurants, grocery, and everything rude you might need. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived with the thoughtful gift baskets for both humans and dogs. Sandy and Dennis were very responsive and made the check-in/out process very easy.
