It was nice and quiet, and the owners are very friendly. Great trails and scenic area, would recommend to others and stay here again if ever in the area.

Loved my stay at this beautiful property. Everything I needed in one place. Although it *is* a drive to anything, it's okay because the peace and quiet is perfect. Short, easy drive into town(s). SO close to winery, which was perfect. Swings across the street. Check-in was easy, and place was spotless. As others have said, please note there's no stove or oven, but there's a hotplate. Will stay again for sure. Thank you for a great weekend!

Spacious, clean, peaceful location, exceedingly comfortable mattress (an absolute rarity), generous snacks/waters, well-appointed, nice linens, secure/attached bike storage shed, large/high-quality televisions, enormous sofa, porch (!), communicative owners. Across the road is a remarkable gazebo with atypical ethereal chimes and bench swings where watching the river meander through the forest evoked altered consciousness and wonderment at nature...yielding gratitude for mere existence. Just FYI (of no consequence to us): no stove or dishwasher.

This is a very clean and well maintained house. They even have a secure bike storage room that is attached to the house. It contains plenty of room for your bikes and has electricity so you can charge your e-bikes.

This is an amazing place to stay right on the Virginia Creeper Trail. It is the best appointed VRBO we have ever rented! She had everything you would need including bottled waters, ketchup, mustard a few snacks. It is extremely well decorated and very clean and comfortable. It made a perfect rest stop for us when we biked from Damascus to Abingdon. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We highly recommend it and hope to return some day!

We loved our stay at this VRBO and interaction with the owners. Came to area to bike the Virginia Creeper which was cool, but stayed three nights to enjoy the area. The cottage is everything and more as shown in pictures. Every comfort of home considered. Charming, cozy, great bed linens, pillows, throws, TVs, and yes the free snacks are 10/10. Met Mark the owner and he was lovely as was his wife who was prompt on communication. There is a fire pit and pavillion and lovely creek across the street we enjoyed an evening fire (wood and fire starters from local Food City.) 128 Pecan great lunch. Visited Abington Muster Grounds for a bit of interesting Revolutionary war history. Abington Winery half mile away from cottage very nice. Played cards on picnic tables outside cottage and watched bikers come and go. Highly recommned this cottage. Thank you.
