The host immediately responded to text messages. Facility was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Bed was comfortable. Very nice. A little further to Abingdon than we would have liked. Other than that, 5*****!

Everything was spotless. We actually met our host as we were headed out. So pleasant! So kind! The property is neat as a pin and very quiet. The mountains are lovely.

The property was clean, beautiful decorated and perfect for a couple. The bed was very comfortable, there were super fluffy towels in the bathroom. The owner was friendly, gracious and left snacks and Nepresso pods for us. The property is a guest house that shares a driveway with the adjoining house. This wasn't a problem for us. There is not a house directly behind the property so the back deck overlooks a sprawling tree lined backyard. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Abingdon.

Great location and fantastic owner.Unfortunately there was a bug and ant problem.Also, once covers weee removed at time of check out, the mattress had done unsavory looking stains. But, the location was great. Tasteful design.Owners were right next door and very responsive.I hate to leave any negative comments because it’s a great place overall. I’m sure the ant issue and the potato bug problem is easily remedied.Would stay there again.

The house was beautiful--looks just like the photos. We found it charming, comfortable, convenient. We attended a festival in Bristol and the trip to town was very easy. We would love to stay there again.

GPS led us on a narrow twisty road with no centerline or side markers. Kind of scary. After we arrived we found a much shorter, safer way to get to and from the property. Hostess was GREAT! She went out of her way to help us! I forgot chairs to go to the race at Bristol, she found some from her friend to loan to us. THANKS! Cottage itself was very nice, had everything we needed.

Great location, wonderful cozy well decorated home away from home. Every need you could want was included. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and saved us money on restaurant visits, so we had more funds to do other fun things!!! Quiet and definitely a spot for two to enjoy some time away.

Very nice!! Thanks for the snacks, and that is the cutest microwave/coffe pot/toaster combo ever! ONLY comment(NOT a complaint), may consider storing a thin mattress pad in the closet for the foldout couch. Needs just a little more cushion.

Excellent place to stay! Though a little out from the center of Abingdon, it’s very close to Bristol as well. Beautiful area, home is beautifully maintained, neighborhood is SO quiet! We enjoyed the thoughtful snacks and the comfy couch, and the bed was incredible! The only issue we had was with the stone pathway into the house - while beautiful, it made navigation difficult for my husband who is legally blind. It was gorgeous, but it can be difficult to navigate while also carrying luggage. We loved our stay and hope to stay again the next time we come to town!

Granted the house and neighborhood was beautiful but it was right next door to the main house. It was clear to us they had been watching us through their blinds. Also the neighbors dog cam running up to us barking and wouldn’t listen to the owner as she was trying to retrieve the dog. Also the listing is misleading. It sleeps 4 but you have to pay 40 a night additional over 2 occupants. I always felt like I was being watched.

Lovely stay. The house is very comfortable, impeccably decorated and well furnished. I stayed 3 nights. I was in town for a job interview and to check out the area. I needed to stay an extra the hosts were very helpful and great to work with.

The cottage was very nice and just the right size for the two of us. The area was very quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out over the large backyard. Because of the weather we stayed inside a lot and felt very comfortable. A great choice for a weekend getaway!

Such a darling property. Suited our needs perfectly. Easy to get to and check in and out was painless. We didn’t need to contact the host, but if we would have I’m sure we would have wait we needed immediately, The place was immaculate and had everything anyone could possibly need or want. Definitely will stay again if we’re in the area.

Very comfortable, clean, and private. Neighborhood was beautiful, scenic, and safe. Proximity to Abingdon, Bristol, and South Holston Dam was very convenient. Highest marks, and we would definitely reach out to stay at this property the next time we want to visit this area of Virginia.

This space was perfect for my spouse and I for a long weekend visiting family in Abingdon. It’s 20 min or less from anywhere we wanted to go, but far enough out that it was quiet and private. The space was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We will be booking here again!

Just right for two, simple and easy access to South Holsten Lake and downtown Abingdon.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights along with our pup and had a great time! We are big on cleanliness which was why I chose this cottage and it did not disappoint. The owners were so accommodating- leaving dish soaps - snacks- and Nespresso pods. We enjoyed watching the cows in the back and the fire pit on the deck! Owners were very kind and responsive. Would def stay here again!

I am an avid fisherman and the weekend forecast for Lake Holston October 11-13th was awesome - I booked this last minute and could not be happier ! The home is everything you see with an expansive view down the hill from the rear porch to a wooded area. Minutes from Painter Creek Marina. And I am now a Nespresso fan !

The house was perfect. My mother and I stayed there for three nights. Everything just as advertised cleanliness was excellent. Very nice neighborhood like the country, but only 5 miles from Bristol.

We loved the time spent in this beautiful cottage. It was conveniently located near shopping, Casino, and South Holston Lake. The immaculate property contained everything we needed to feel right at home. We look forward to revisiting soon.

Very nice cottage in a beautiful neighborhood! Stayed here while in the area for Country Thunder and would definitely stay again if in the area! Bed was very comfortable, place was very clean and the owners even left snacks at check in!
