Stayed Mar 29, 2026The property is immaculate and our hosts have done a stellar job in creating a home feel environment from the interior decor to the detailed and thoughtful amenities provided (even back-up plans had we forgotten something such as a toothbrush). And their ambassador, Benny the Scottish Collie was a welcomed addition to our porch, although we did make sure to welcome him, we were assured had that not been the case, he could take a hint. I did not plan it for this trip, but the kitchen is well equipped for cooking a meal in house if you did not want to take the 7-8 minutes to get to Abingdon restaurants. The setting is in the woods with comfortable rockers on the front porch and with a back porch fire place if you so choose. My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay and we could not have been more pleased with this cozy cabin. Our intentions are to definitely return. The Creeper trailhead in Abingdon is also only 8 minutes away, as is the Barter theater and many shops and restaurants. Communication with the pleasant owners was enjoyable, responsive and seamlessly easy. This property and the host and Benny all get 10 out of 10 from us!

Stayed Oct 2, 2025The cabin is extremely clean and very nicely furnished. Hosts are the best. Everything we needed was already provided. Collie (named Benny) is so friendly, playful. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Phyllis and David are Premier Hosts!

Stayed Sep 25, 2025Perfect place on a mountain surrounded by trees and nature. Benny the dog and another female black lab came by to visit. It was so quiet and peaceful. I’d definitely stay again if I go back to Abingdon.

Stayed Jun 18, 2025Stayed 2 nights. Went to the creeper trail E-bike which was so so. The trail would have be better if it wasn’t raining. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Small but perfect for my husband and I. Would diffidently come again when we could stay longer.

Stayed Aug 22, 2024My husband and I stayed at the cabin and it was exactly as described. It was a perfect location to the town if Abingdon. We rode the shuttle from Abingdon up to white top and biked the whole 34 miles back to Abingdon. Loved the cabin and the owners were very accommodating. Hope to go back with the kids one day.
