Family Friendly Glidden Drive Beach Retreat on Lake Michigan

Absolutely beautiful property with gorgeous lake views and a beautiful sandy beach. Very easy to access and everything was as described in the property description. Response from the owner was very prompt and professional. Highly recommend and especially for families with children; although we did not need it during our stay, there were a lot of kid friendly amenities, like a highchair, crib, toys, and books.

The home is spacious with Lake Michigan just steps away. The neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic. Door County never disappoints, the first time in years it didn’t rain during my stay. ?

This was top notch. The home itself is exquisite...a warm hug, a hearty, well appointed and very clean, welcome, with breathtaking views. We slept very comfortably on the beds that were covered with mattress protectors (as were all the pillows) and very comfy blankets. I loved that 2 vacumes, brooms and dustpans were readily available too so we can keep up with the sand. I adore that this home is pup friendly, our dog is 10 but she got into the beach vibe quickly. The master bedroom accomodates our dog bed perfectly. Our family suffered a loss an really needed an unwind, and a chance to slow down and experience joy, which we did in spades. It was perfect. My husband and I so enjoyed the gravity chairs on back patio for reading when we weren't in the water, and for stargazing over the Lake, at night. We experienced the kayaks and paddleboards and loved that a canoe was also availalbe to us. The fire pit was a big hit with our teenager who cooked his brat and bun over a fire one evening (Thanks for having metal marshmellow hooks by the indoor fireplace for this!). From top to bottom, inside and out this VRBO is one of, if not THE nicest home we've had the privilege to stay in. Thank you Jill and Ryan!

Oh my goodness! This was a really ideal lake house. Well-equipped, very clean, very comfortable, amazing views, and much more private than any other rental we've had in Door County. It was a restful, peaceful, beautiful week. Many many thanks to the hosts for sharing such a wonderful place!
