Great location. Easy to bounce around to the beach and different areas. Whole family had a great time.

Great location! Walked to dinner, grocery store, and beach. Home was very spacious. Downstairs room was a little hard to sleep with upstairs condo walking around late the first night but we really enjoyed the location and beach amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at our house. We had five people stay there comfortably. The house was clean and close to the beach and grocery store. I would definitely stay there again!! Thank you!

We and our local family had an excellent time in this Newport Beach house. The neighborhood is quiet and it was a short walk to the beach and pathway. We enjoyed walking along the path toward the pier and shops and hiking along the beach. The house was very clean and is well furnished. There is comfortable furniture everywhere, including the bedrooms, and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils.

Great location. Very nice house, very roomy. All beds and furniture were very comfortable. Spacious kitchen. Providing beach chairs, umbrella, and body boards was nice. TVs are a little complicated to use but once you do it a few times it’s ok. Only complaint is it can be tough getting a larger car (mini van) into the garage, especially if the house across the alley has a car parked in alley. Management was very accommodating to some special requests.

This location was amazing! Just 3 blocks from the beach and the rooms, the kitchen, living, and dining layout was great for our family of 5. The kitchen had ample supplies, dishes, pots and pans, etc. While the soaps and shampoos didn't make it into two of the bathrooms, we did find what we needed in the cupboards. We could only find three beach towels, though. The smoke detectors went off, and Scott was quick to pick up the phone and help us sort out what to do on the spot, as he was over an hour away. He also made an extra effort to look for a jacket that I thought I had left. Thanks, Scott!

Wonderful home and location! The house accommodated 2 adults and 2 teenagers very well with 4 bathrooms and 3 rooms. The house was clean and spacious. We took advantage of the propane grill, beach chairs and enjoyed the quick walk to the beach. I highly recommend this home with anyone visiting with a group. One bedroom with bath was downstairs, a 1/2 bath as well and upstairs had the 2 other rooms/bathrooms.

We loved the place! Plenty of space for my adult family (6 people). I dozed off in the comfy chair watching a football game I didn’t care about, just like home! I only wish I could smoke a cigar on the patio.

Superior in every way.

We immediately felt at home in this very well kept property. Everything was nice and clean and the owner has obviously kept up over time with maintaining the house in good condition. The cabinets and countertop in the kitchen look new and the house is pleasantly decorated with pictures and realia that reflect the beach theme. The location can’t be beat, with the grocery store three blocks to the south and the ocean and beach three blocks to the west. You have a garage spot so you don’t have to deal with street parking. With the exception of going to and from the airport, we just parked the car in the garage and walked. We also rented bikes, which is really the best way to get around and see the area. The garage houses the washer and dryer, which are in good condition and there is a nice supply of beach chairs and sand toys if you have a little ones. We have rented many places in Newport Beach over the last 30 years and this place is just excellent.

We had a fabulous time at this property. It was clean, large, quiet, and perfectly located. Walking distance to the beach, the grocery store and restaurants. The property management group was fantastic with communication. We look forward to visiting this location again.

We loved our stay in Newport Beach. The home is well built and cozy. I’m from VT and it reminded me of a similar quality and that’s unusual in CA! We would definitely stay again.

We had the best long weekend at this roomy home in Newport Beach! All 6 of us (two adults and 4 teens) had room and space to enjoy this great home. Kitchen was ample with everything we needed. Could have cooked in, but so many great restaurant choices near by. Perfect walking location to the beach and clean/newer chairs to borrow. Great new couch in the living room too. Very comfortable and plan to go back again.

Roomy and just as advertised! We loved this place and would 100% stay here again. Parking included. Grocery store and shops are walkable as is the beach. Truly perfect place!!

Myself and two friends rented the property for a weekend get away trip. We were all very impressed with the house and the cleanliness and overall layout. The house’s oocation being close to John Wayne Airport and less then 300 yards from the beach made it a no brainer for us. We spent the weekend at the beach, knotts berry farm and hanging out at the house. If the next time we plan a weekend trip and the property is available we will definitely be staying there again.

Perfect location, very clean, huge property. Only complaint was the garage was super hard to get in and out of with vehicle parked in front. The property itself was huge, each room had its own full bathroom. The location was close to everything. Owner very responsive too! Great experience, thank you!

My family and I had a nice stay in this house. It was generally clean and tidy. Scott was very responsive to all communications. There were a couple of minor issues with our stay, the biggest being that the house was not ready at check-in time. Scott was quick to respond that extra cleaning was needed after the previous guests, so it took a couple of additional hours before we could get in. Not ideal, as my dad was hoping for an afternoon nap. It would have been nice to be alerted to this delay ahead of time, but other than that, things were ok. It was very nice to have a garage spot, as parking in the neighborhood is quite limited. We rented a minivan and it was a bit challenging to get into the spot, as the alley and garage are on the smaller side. Just something to be aware of. This is an older neighborhood, so probably the situation in general for the area. The location is nice and walkable to lots of things. I will say, however, that it seems like people like to party in this area, so it’s something to consider, depending on what you are looking for. We stayed in March and it wasn’t too loud, but I believe there were some spring breakers around, so definitely some partying. I can only imagine what it’s like in the summer! My parents are in their 80s, so we were more looking for a quiet house. It was ok in March, but not sure I would take my parents there in the summer.

Comfortable place, felt just like home! We had a relaxing time and would definitely come back. A perfect place to act as home base. Everything was so comfortable and felt just like home. Although it rained, we enjoyed every minute together in this wonderful home. Thanks for making this place feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect - so close to the beach. We enjoyed the convenience of walking to the grocery store and making meals together. It was great to have everything we needed all in one place and didn't have to use our car once to drive anywhere. Definitely recommend!

Overall, this is a really nice property. We particularly liked the location (close to the beach, groceries, the pirate house, etc.), the garage parking and the spacious layout. We really appreciated the beach chair (although a second would have been nice), the beach toys for our little one, the games and puzzles, and the welcome package, which was a nice touch.We had one issue involving the smoke alarms going off for no reason, and Scott, the property manager, was unreachable by phone (a neighbour told us he was out of the country and then called the actual owner to help resolve it). One other issue we experienced was the upstairs noise heard from the back bedroom. Unfortunately the tenant upstairs enjoyed getting up around 6am and made noise until 7:30am each morning we were there (the last morning, it was 4-5:30am, apparently due to an early flight according to the cleaning lady, who was lovely by the way), which was far too early for our vacation. Aside from this, our stay was excellent and we do recommend this property for your Newport vacation.

The house was very nice. Sparse (I always hope to get sneak peaks of people's lives), but exactly as promoted on the website. Scott was incredibly responsive. He immediately brought us dishwashing pods when we ran out. Any questions were answered right away. We had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy. You could make the rooms dark (helpful for the kiddos sleeping) and adjust the temp (helpful for the grandparents). The bedroom on the first floor with no stairs was exactly what we needed. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

We went to the beach for a week to celebrate several family birthdays. I know Newport Beach well having spent many times there when I was younger. We chose the place due to its short walk to the beach and grocery store, bank and coffee houses, and—very important—parking on site. With two grown daughters, we likes the three bedroom set up was perfect. The kitchen is well appointed and the TV large and easy to work! What could be better? Nothing I could think of. Scott, the owner, was very attentive to one small needed repair that was fixed quickly.

We needed to get out of the heat in Arizona for a few days and head to the beach. This was a great home and a fantastic choice. Lots of space, huge kitchen, parking, just perfect for our family. The best part....two blocks to beach and maybe 3 blocks to the grocery store. Scott was great to work with recommendations on places to eat. Highly recommend this house.
