Stayed Sep 13, 2024It was very clean and quiet. Property needs upgrades. Flooring in bedrooms old and stained. Wallpaper really dates the home. Washer and dryer were hard to access in basement and that was not indicated in the description. Hard for 70+ senior to access. Bathroom sink did not drain well. Bathroom did not have curtain on window. Front door keypad did not work and it took us 30 min, to get into the home. We had to use the lock box key after trouble shooting with VAKASA agent. Very frustrating.

Stayed Sep 28, 2024Needs major updating. All furniture was old, rugs were stained, bed was low to the floor, the one large knife they had was missing the tip. Another knife was all bent, can opener was broken, sink sprayer didn’t work. No cleaning supplies, needed more lights or brighter lights, a/c only in bedrooms, but was in great location, had. Sunroom and outside area to hang out.

Stayed Aug 21, 2024House was just as described. In a quiet neighborhood with easy access to a small beach. Outdoor space - sunporch and grilling space and lower level was secluded and peaceful. beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Stayed Sep 3, 2024The Happy Place was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed 9 days and traveled all over the Cape from this convenient central location. Backyard conservation area was a bonus for my wildlife photographer husband. Our only complaint is the partial A/C, we managed ok since the temp was not too hot but the dog days of summer would be too hot here for us.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024it is not modern but very clean and outside super cute. 10 minute walk yo beach. AC only in rooms but we went in August and used fans provided. Nice place ro stay.

Stayed Jun 10, 2024Stayed at “The Happy Place” for a week and we loved it. A nice and quiet location that we could go to after a long day of exploring to relax. Just the right size for a couple or family of 4. The sun room was our favorite hangout spot in the home. Easy to find and in a great spot to go anywehre on the Cape. Definitely will stay here again in the future!
