Stayed Mar 29, 2026We loved our stay at Southern Cross Lodge. The house is beautiful, and the beds are very comfortable with lovely pillows and sheets. Communication with Stephanie was great. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake from the patio and from so many of the windows. The location was quiet, and we would stay here again.

Stayed Dec 24, 2025We had an amazing stay! The beautiful house was perfect for our group of 8. Gorgeous views from every window with nothing overlooked in the house in terms of amenities. We spent a wonderful 5 days exploring the region and it was a great base. Stephanie was an excellent host, providing loads of info and always responded in a timely way. We would highly recommend this stunning property and would love to return!

Stayed Nov 22, 2025Stephanie was very welcoming, provided her contact and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The house and view are top notch. We enjoyed being a bit outside the town center and took strolls to dinner in town. Overall we had a great time in Wanaka doing day treks and wine tasting. We would definitely stay here again due to comfort, view, and peace!
