WANAKA COTTAGE is set in private, landscaped gardens with magnificent views of the South Islands snow-capped mountains.
Our Cottage is perfect for smaller groups, and can sleep 3 - 4 people. It is a charming character cottage, and features a private SPA POOL, a Super King oak sleigh bed, and a second bedroom with either a King bed or 2 large Single beds. Beds are made up on arrival with feather duvets in winter and cotton in summer.

Stayed Jan 14, 2026Cottage has a lot of charm and is in a very quiet area. Easy check in process, meticulously clean and well stocked with essentials. Was also provided with local restaurant choices that did not disappoint! After a few long days of hiking, we enjoyed using the hot tub in the secluded back yard. Great place to stay!

Stayed Jul 12, 2025This was a fantastic place to stay. Wanaka itself is beautiful and the house was perfectly situated on the road to Cardrona. 30 minute drive to the ski-fields :)Even better was the lovely hot tub which was very welcome after the skiing. There is an open fire which is well stocked with wood and very helpful and friendly owners who live next door. A wonderful place to stay! And we were finally rewarded with a clear view of the Mountains on our last day!

Stayed Apr 16, 2025The property was lovely. Nice and central to what we needed.The only issue was the shower was over the bath - which normally wouldn't be too much of an issue but the beautiful bath was very high which made getting in and out difficult for myself who has had a knee replacement. Otherwise it was perfect. Ash was fantastic to deal with and available if we had any issues.

Stayed Jan 18, 2025Really lovely cozy cottage with a great backyard. Fully equipped with everything we needed- including laundry, a deep bathtub and a hot tub / spa outside. Conveniently located with a friendly but quiet bar/ restaurant right next door for easy dinners and drinks. We loved the lake, Puzzleworld and easy drive to Queenstown thru the dramatic mountain pass.

Stayed Aug 4, 2024Wanaka is a lovely place to visit & this cottage is a very comfortable place to stay. It’s on the edge of town, but nowhere in Wanaka is far from anywhere else. We were able to relax, spread out & enjoy our down time between all the other activities we did. Ash was an attentive, but unobtrusive host & made sure we had what we needed, & gave us excellent tips for dining etc. Would definitely stay there again

Having The Stoaker Room Bistro next door was a bonus. The manager communications were first rate, timely and accurate. Highly recommended
