Contact Becky! During Peak Season Boyer Beach House books Saturday to Saturday, we have a 2 or 3-day minimum depending on off-peak season months.

PLEASE NOTE: VRBO has started using AI to update items such as amenities or attractions nearby without the Hosts approval. If you are interested in specific amenities please ask me (Becky) and I will confirm. The other day VRBO said I had a pool at our Boyer Log Cabin (I wish). We want our guests to have a great stay with no surprises ordisappointments, so if you see a Pool listed anywhere, sorry, we don't have one - thanks!

We sleep 4 humans (no exceptions) and we allow you to bring ONE (1) dog for a fee.

Boyer Beach House is a Four Season Home (2 Bed - 2 bath), cedar-sided ranch with a great fireplace, full updated kitchen with dishwasher, 3.5 acres, 2-car attached garage, small dunes, and 190 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline. Free Spectrum Fiber Optics too!

The house is located on one of the most rustic roads in Door County, South Lake Michigan Drive. It is a 1.5-car wide lane (newly paved 2024) that meanders along the lake shore for a couple of miles, the speed limit along our stretch is 15 mph. Very, very low-traffic road, either someone really wants to drive down this road or they have a place here. It is not part of the tourist trail.

The house is 40 feet away from our expansive sand beach, (across the small rustic lane) the total sandy area is approximately 1 acre. The lake shore is super sandy and the lake bottom is hard sand, gradual depth, great for kids, and your (leashed) dog too!

Boyer Beach House is located towards the northern end of a sandy bay that totals just over a mile. At the north end is where you will find the Sturgeon Bay shipping canal, lighthouse, and the Door County Land Trust Preserve which has 400+ acres of forest, dunes, and walking trails.

Our lakefront is perfect for kayaks, windsurfing, swimming, sailing, SUPing, and boogie boarding. Very easy to launch any 'quiet' water activities.

To the rear of the house is about 2 acres of pines, birch, and cedars that you can explore. Beyond our land are hundreds of acres of privately owned, but undeveloped land. This area is teeming with wildlife. It is very common to see deer, porcupines, turkeys, or foxes walking in the area or right down the middle of South Lake Michigan Drive.

The house is an extremely well-built ranch, circa 1960. There are two generous-sized bedrooms and plenty of closet space. Bedroom #1 is 16x14, with huge closets, a dresser, and a Queen size bed. Bedroom #2 is 12x10, with a small dresser, huge closets, and two Twin beds. A full bathroom on the main level and a 2nd full bathroom located in the basement.

Our front room has a woodburning fireplace and the living room area with a view of Lake Michigan. We have a Smart TV and Spectrum Fiber Optics.

The full kitchen is updated and well-equipped to prepare any meals to be served in the separate dining area. We have a CHARCOAL grill for outside use.

The basement is unfinished but here you will find a pool table, the second full bathroom, and a full-sized washer and dryer.

We do allow you to bring your well-behaved dog for a $90 fee; please don't forget to include your furry family member when booking, thank you! We ask that you always leash your dog when walking outside. Please respect our neighbor's peace and quiet and do not leave your dog tied to a lead or sitting on the beach barking all day. Please do not bring your dog if they are going to just sit there and bark; that's no fun for your furry family member or our neighbors. Thank you.

The attached garage is available for you to use. Back in your fishing boat, keep your bikes dry and easily pack/unpack your car. We have (3) Kayaks and (1) Stand-Up Paddleboard (seasonal use of course) along with life jackets and paddles for you to use. We hope you don't expect the Four Seasons Hotel; we try our best and hope you enjoy your vacation! Blue Chair Capital offers a 5% discount off the rental amount to military members and veterans; please present your proper ID.

Door County, the Cape Cod of the Midwest, receives about 2 million visitors every year. Our location is away from the tourist trail and makes a good home base to easily explore all of Door County by car.

We are 10 minutes from Sturgeon Bay shops, restaurants, and the town waterfront walkway. There are many boat launch facilities and many transient options within minutes. Also, we are in the middle of one of the best fisheries in the world. Salmon, small-mouth bass, walleye, perch, and even northern - there is always a fishing option within a few minutes by boat.

We have 2 other rentals, both located in Egg Harbor, Boyer Log Cabin - on 40 acres, sleeps 6 (VRBO#1214889), and Boyer Point Cottage - which sleeps 8 -gorgeous sunsets (VRBO#1866692) please visit us there as well!!

-Government-issued photo identification is required for incidental charges

Cancellations – Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel after that point, they will not get a refund. However; if they cancel in less than 60 days, we will make every good faith effort to re-rent the House for the same period and rental amount, and if successful, the entire rental amount will be returned minus a $100 service charge.

Lovely house in a quiet location, but convenient to Sturgeon Bay and the rest of the peninsula. The beach was amazing to walk along the lake during the day and gaze at the stars at night. The house is clean and comfortable, and Becky is a terrific host, ensuring that we didn't have any problems during our stay!

We arrived at the house about 4:30 pm on the day scheduled. The directions were easy to follow. We were surprised to see that the house is right along the lake (a street is separating the house from the dunes) and that there were so many other homes closely next to one another. This never was an issue for us. I would say that the biggest disappointment we had was not thinking through being right next to the water in a wooded area. The mosquitos were thick. This impeded our ability to be outside unless on the beach. The beach was perfect, very few people, clean and beautiful. The house is perfect for up to four people. The living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable. We thought the two black chairs were recliners, they are not. Two bedrooms are upstairs with one of the bathrooms. The second bathroom is downstairs along with the laundry and a pool table. Our host, Becky, was very pleasant to communicate with. We forgot to let her know we changed a smoke detector battery in the basement. It was easier for us to change it rather than to have her come over to do it. We didn't research that at the end of May and beginning of June, the temperatures are quite cool and the temperature fluctuation at different points of the peninsula. All in all, the property met our needs.

My husband, son, and his girlfriend had a great experience at Boyer Beach House. The house, as described is situated across a rural road on an expansive, sandy beach. What the description doesn’t say is how incredible the views are, and how peaceful the location is. The ranch home is cozy and well-equipped, featuring a great fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, and modern amenities like free Spectrum Fiber Optics. The beds were all very comfortable! The proximity to the Sturgeon Bay shipping canal and the Door County Land Trust Preserve offered plenty of opportunities for exploration and morning walks. Our dog loved her walks along the beach. Becky is an exceptional host, very good at communicating and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend Boyer Beach House for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Door County.

Location! This gem sits right across from Lake Michigan. I walked the jetty every morning where you can get a front row to the most incredible sun rise over Lake Michigan. It was off season when I visited in April and no one was out, had the entire beach to myself. The house has everything. Very clean. Stocked with games with a beautiful forest behind the house. Will definitely be staying again.

We had a great time staying here for Thanksgiving. It was just our family of four, and I can't say enough about the location. Despite the cold weather, we spent hours walking on the beach and hiking in the nature preserve nearby. Everything was clean, it was warm even in the freezing cold, and Becky sent us an incredibly detailed list of do's, don'ts and things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend, we may try to come back again when it is warm out to enjoy the beach without 5 layers!

My husband and I, along with our Golden Retriever, Katie, have stayed here three times now and continue to love it! We were especially impressed this time when, after discovering not long after our arrival that the microwave wasn't working, we called Becky and she had a new microwave delivered to us within an hour on a Saturday evening! We really appreciated her GREAT customer service and look forward to staying here again! Linda

This place has so much to offer for a fun, comfortable lakeside stay. On warm days, there are lawn games (croquet, beanbag toss, and more) available. When the water is calm enough, kayaks and SUP's. There is all the beachside furniture needed for sunbathing or sitting around the campfire you could possibly need, and on rainy days, games, puzzles, books, DVD's, and even a pool table that can be converted into ping-pong. We've rented a number of VRBO properties through the years, and this beach home stacks up as one of the best in our experience. The kitchen is decently appointed for a rental home affording all the tools, pot & pans and accessories to prepare basic meals, and the beds and linens are comfortable and well cared for. Becky is a fantastic, hands-on and super responsive hostess. Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay with you! We hope to return next year for a week when the weather will be warm enough to take better advantage of beachside hours.
