Beautiful Sunsets on the Bay! Waterfront, large yard, updated home.

After multiple stays here over the last few years, we can now say that this is our favorite place in Door County! Exceptionally clean, beautiful decor (including for the Christmas holiday!), accommodating and welcoming host, and centralized enough for many different outings. We'll be back!

This house was great! It has such a gorgeous view and is in a great location being not far from either Sturgeon Bay or Egg Harbor. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all the necessities.

Spacious. Master on first floor. Excellent communication with homeowner. Well located in Door county . Beautiful views of the Bay.

Stone Duck was a fantastic location for our long weekend! The hosts were excellent in responding and the house was great. Andrew responded within minutes to any questions we had and provided a well equipped home. We only cooked a few meals, but the kitchen had everything we needed. We were in town for the Fall 50 race and the location on the route made it easy to get to Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. Our visit was late October so we didn’t use the outdoor equipment, but everything looked well kept. The inside is clean and livable which was very nice with a young child. We will definitely look to stay again soon. Thank you to the hosts!

Another wonderful week at the Stone Duck!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice to be a little out of town but close enough to get anything you need. The house was very nice and we enjoyed seeing the beautiful sunsets from the patio. Check in/out was very easy and host is very prompt with responses. We didn’t have any issues or problems. There were lots of games, puzzles, and dvds to enjoy in the evenings or on a rainy day, and we all had fun our last evening painting a rock. Loved having use of the 2 kayaks too. A very nice property for our family vacation in door county!

The home was ideal for our family of 6. Door County is a special place with lots to do. We enjoyed the waterfront, sunsets and fire pit. The rental was well stocked and very clean.

We had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and right on the water. My parents are in their eighties so having a first floor room and bathroom was perfect. And we could bring their dog. Beautiful sunsets over the bay. Great location. It was quiet but not too far from the tourist area if you are inclined.

Staying at The Stone Duck is an absolute pleasure every time! So quiet and relaxing, lovely, clean house, comfortable furniture - nothing beats it! Can’t wait to come back!

The house was the perfect place for our family of four for a long weekend getaway. So calming to listen to the waves, yet just a short drive to downtown Sturgeon Bay.

My wife and I and my wife's brother and wife spent Feb 8-15, 2025 at the Stone Duck. It sits right on Green Bay. We had beautiful sunsets 5 of the 7 nights. We were lucky and had beautiful snow which our pup had never seen, and she totally enjoyed romping in it. The drive had to be snowplowed twice, but is happened automatically without our having to do anything. The house is about 1/2 mile from one of the Door County Land Trust's many hiking trails. We went to different Trust locations every day to hike.They are very scenic and easy to moderate hiking generally 1-1/2 to 2 miles. The house is centrally located on the peninsula so it is easy to get to all parts. The house itself is nice, and Andrew, the owner of the house, is very responsive in answering our questions ahead of time. We had a great time and are already talking about returning. We had hoped to see the northern lights, but cloud cover and the atmospheric conditions just did not cooperate. There is probably a better chance to see the lights at the northern end of the island, but we knew that but really liked the description of the Stone Duck in the reviews, so we chose to stay there.. We fully enjoyed the house.

Beautiful location and very relaxing.

Walking into this home gave us instant peace. The house is clean, well-kept, and cozy, with everything we could possibly need for a winter vacation. Extremely comfortable and very well situated for a number of quick day trips around Door County. Huge thank you to Andrew and his family everything provided. We'll be back in the future!

This house had everything we needed or wanted. The kitchen is roomy and well-stocked. We intend to stay here again!

The house and the property were absolutely beautiful, better than the pictures! We would recommend this house to anyone! The house was super clean and fully stocked with everything you could need. It is the perfect location to visit door county.

Instructions were perfect. Clean, easy to find, great house and layout. Big kitchen, like the round table for many. Back deck looking out to bay is nice, used the fire pit 2x in 3 nights. Bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable. Bathrooms big and well constructed. Parking for several cars. The only thing I’d add….A ladder for the dock would make it much easier to get into and out of water. It was the difference between some swimming and others not. Add a garbage can to the upstairs bedrooms. Nothing bad about this place.

Our family of six stayed for a week in August 2024. Clean and comfortable house with all the amenities. Relaxing place to sit and watch the waves and the sunset. Kids enjoyed fishing though they didn't catch much. We visited several state and county parks in the county and had wonderful weather for hiking.

This is a perfect vacation home. The rocks and pier are great for the kids. It’s a great location for sightseeing and golf The home is comfortable and easy to maintain We had a wonderful time !

We have been staying in Door every summer for a week at a time but always on the “quiet” side for the last eight years. This was our first time on the bay. The sunsets could not be beat! The house had everything you could possibly need. We stayed with our three boys ages 18-6 and almost 2 y/o Bernedoodle. It was perfect, very clean and had comfy beds. We were the perfect distance from everything. Nights were quiet with clear skies to view the stars. Andrew was even there at a moment’s notice when I couldn’t locate the door code. The home is beautiful. Book it! You will not be disappointed.
