Beautiful, Family-Friendly South Beach Newport Oceanfront Home w/ Bunk Room!

Location was great with views and access to the beach. All beds were too soft.

First of all, I reviewed before but it wasn't posted, as it wasn't a positive review. On a positive note the view was great! Kitchen amenities good. Beds were very soft. Hard on backs. Lower level guest had to go buy a blow up mattress. Initial arrival, garbage was overflowing and spilled onto ground. Management was responsive and cleaned up within an hour. Several deck chairs were rusted through. One broke on initial use. Master bath toilet had a sign 'hold handle down to flush'. Really? fix the pluming. Place was obviously neglected for repairs that would have made the stay much more enjoyable and worth the money. Not so at this point. Second bedroom shower also had a sign to close shower door and point the shower head to the right', again, really? Dishwasher filter was filthy. Full of other guests food. I'm sure there are much better places for the money but we booked last minute.. Won't book here again. See if this get's posted.?

The home is as described, beautiful views. Beds are comfortable. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the musty odor. It improved some after airing out.

Overall our stay was great and we enjoyed the views despite the continuous rain (normal for the Oregon Coast at this time of year).Two pieces of feedback from all of us- 1) Time to upgrade the pillows. We all wished we would have packed our own as the pillows are old and very flat in every room. 2) Would have been nice to have either (or both) tinfoil or plastic wrap available in the kitchen.

This is a lovely house for a group. 2 bedrooms up with 2 baths. Sleeping for 5 down below (kids or teens best). Plenty of room on the deck for everyone. Room for all 6 of us to six comfortably in the living room overlooking the view. The only issue was that the refrigerator broke before we arrived. It was replaced with a different one in the same room. The only downside was no ice maker. Otherwise, it was a comfortable, roomy house.

Beautiful and clean home!

We enjoyed a long weekend, with this as our home base. Great views. Easy access to the aquarium, south beach state park, nye beach, Bayfront, etc. Would stay here again!
