Beachfront: Private Balboa Bayfront Home with Private Beach, Dock & near town.

Great family vacation spot! The back patio and dock area with private beach area was perfect for young and older kids to play and paddle board. Evenings were wonderful sitting and watching all the boats go by. It was also very easy to gather up what we needed and walked across the street to the ocean to let the kids play in the waves. We really enjoyed staying at this location.

Everything about our trip to Newport Beach/Balboa Peninsula was WONDERFUL. Our rental was ideally located right on the harbor, next to the Fun Zone, steps from the ocean, ferry to Balboa Island, walk to restaurants. We’d wake up, make coffee, walk out on our private pier and enjoy the sunrise & harbor activity and plan our day. We’d end the night on our pier with a glass of wine recapping our fun events of the day - Duffy boat riding, whale watching, fine dining, shopping, beaching, exploring. Our very responsive & friendly host provided us with an assortment of recommendations - and I think we did them all! The rental is for the first floor only but the permanent renter above is very quiet and respectful… we really didn’t even know she was there. The main floor has 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms living, dining, kitchen, den/workspace, laundry, and parking in garage. 2 sets of sliding doors provide a GORGEOUS harbor view & invite you out to the harbor. We had everything we needed & more - loved the coastal decor - especially the framed needlepoint of Newport Island sites on the walls:) My family unanimously voted this stay as one of our all time favorite trips. We will definitely be back - thank you!

There is so much to love about the property - wonderful dock and outdoor space, truly on the beach with no one walking by, great location near everything, garage parking, living spaces were comfortable, responsive and helpful host. But don’t expect perfection at this price. House is older and feels tired, and like every other house in the area you are under a flight path.

We stayed during the off-season at Christmas time and the proximity to Balboa Island and the fun zone was great. Our host John was helpful and informative. The weather was not as warm and sunny as we hoped but that's not anyone's fault and it was December after all. Just sitting and enjoying the view of the passing boats while soaking up family time was just what we needed.

I can’t say enough about this place. My husband and I have both lived and stayed in many places in Newport Beach. From Balboa Island, to the Wedge and everywhere in between. This is by far going to be our #1 go to from here on. Communications were great, accommodations were fantastic and you cannot beat this location. We loved relaxing on the private doc and having all the local amenities nearby. You have our top rating!!

Location, location, location is the phrase - this property had that and so much more! Quiet, yet just a few doors from the Fun Zone, Ferry, restaurants and so much more - this property has it all. It was beautiful and the weather cooperated. A magnificent view from the back yard/patio, a private beach, a pier out into the bay to watch the yachts and other boats sail by. Fishing poles were available as well as beach cruiser bikes plus boogie boards for the ocean and bike trail only a block to the other side of the peninsula. Host, John, was responsive and communicated effectively with us. He was clear with instructions and all went as planned. The only fault was ours in not booking our stay for a longer period of time! We want to return any time of year!
