Stayed Dec 18, 2025The Balboa Island Incredible Beach House truly lives up to its name. The host didn’t spare a single detail to make our stay special. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with holiday music playing, beautifully festive decorations throughout the home, and thoughtful goodies waiting for us to enjoy during the boat parade! It instantly felt magical and intentional.The house itself was immaculate — spotless, well-appointed, and clearly cared for with pride. You could tell the host genuinely wanted guests to have an unforgettable experience, and they absolutely delivered.10 out of 10 - an incredible stay from start to finish. Our family can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Highly, highly recommend!

The house is very clean, has everything you would need for a vacation and is a spectacular location. We have been staying on Balboa Island for over 25 years and this is our favorite place to stay.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024We have stayed at various VRBOs on BI as well as in Bewport and at other beach town in California. We also have been in other vrbo homes throughout the country. This home by far is the cleanest, best stocked, most organized, and best maintained home we have rented. The location was great. The home was also very family friendly. First time I can say this about a vrbo home, everything worked! Fantastic stay and all the family enjoyed it. We are looking to return next summer. We already told the manager and I just need to get in line and get it done.
