Guests will have access to the entire home. There is a separate unit upstairs (partly above garage) occupied by a long term tenant. No shared spaces minus the garage (1 car for guest, 1 car for tenant). The washer and dryer are located in the garage and shared with the tenant (sign on wall for hours of use for fair sharing).

Guests can use washer and dryer from 11am to 4pm daily.

We want your vacation rental experience to be memorable and convenient. Keeping a comfortable and clean property is what is most important to us. We will be available anytime via messenger to answer any questions or concerns.
We take the approach of being hands off on the property unless needed - we want you to feel like you have the home all to yourself!

HOUSE RULES
>Must be 25 years old to book
>No parties
>No events
>No smoking inside
>Quiet time after 10pm (includes loud voices/music) - per city ordinance
>No unauthorized guests other than those on the reservation

PETS
>$200/stay, 2 pets max
>Must be accompanied at all times
>Charged additional fee if cleaners have to clean pet waste

DEPOSIT
>We may ask for a $250 deposit hold, or $500 for holidays

LEFT BEHIND ITEMS
>$20 service charge added to shipping cost

CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES
Note: When making a reservation through our website or when using credit card payment there is a 4-6% credit card processing charge that is paid to Stripe (the credit card processing company). If AT ANY TIME there is a cancellation, the 4-6% charge is not refunded.

DAMAGE PROTECTION
The extra charge listed as “Waivo Insurance” on your reservation covers accidental damage in the home within a certain limit. If something happens or breaks during your stay please let us know immediately so we can file a claim.
Note: This amount only covers a 10 day or less stay. If you are staying longer than 10 days we will request the difference in amount for coverage.
MARRIOTT GUESTS -- You are not charged a Waivo Fee. You will be asked to upload your credit card information to the reservation upon booking, this will act as the card on file (similar to hotels) in case any damages occur during your stay.

    Our family enjoyed this beach cottage and its’ amenities. The attention to detail made for a comfortable stay. The cottage is very clean, uncluttered and offers several seating areas to relax and enjoy the vibe of Balboa Island. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and hanging out on the front patio which is generously sized. The beach and ferry are a short walk away which was convenient. This cottage shows pride of ownership and attention to detail. It was easy to communicate with the management service about our stay and the check-in/checkout process. We recommend this charming beach cottage to other vacationers looking for a carefree experience.
