    I was welcomed, I was responded to and nearly everything was in great shape. It must be noted that a piece of glass from a bedroom window (latticed glass) is missing and really needs to be replaced. Otherwise, very good.

    Our stay was very enjoyable! It was great having a place to park in the garage and the area was perfect for dining, shops and things to do. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of towels and blankets for us to use. The only thing to potentially improve on was when we first arrived, it took a while for the apartment to cool down as there was only one unit. The bedrooms were the last to cool down. Overall great stay and would recommend to others!

    This was my first time renting back unit and not a main house- but the apartment was perfect for us! Excellent location near the shops and restaurants, as well as the sand. Very clean. The beds and couch were cozy. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan as well as an oscillating fan. It’s true the AC does not reach the bedrooms, but open the windows and turn on the fans, and the room was very comfortable to sleep. The split door in the entry allows for lots of cross breeze. The AC in the living area cools quickly. Rental company was very responsive and friendly. Check out was a breeze without a long list of chores. We would definitely stay again.

    This was a very nice place, newly remodeled and very clean. Sofa was comfy, beds were comfy, nice bath & beach towels. It’s always a plus having parking available since the traffic is very busy on Balboa Island. The bedrooms are in the back above the garage so it’s very private and separate from the front unit which is rented out by a long-term tenant. I didn’t mind the hustle and bustle in the alley at 6 AM because we are up early and go to bed early. Washer and dryer and garage was very convenient and they supplied soap as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. All appliances worked great if you’re going to use them but overall I give this place five stars and would definitely come back!

    Had everything we needed! It’s walkable to the main st for shopping and food. During the day we enjoyed renting bikes, the ferry, and the fun zone. At night we walked to dinner and cozied up at the apt. Would highly recommend for families. Thank you!

    Rented because it was described as having AC. That means during the summer, rooms won't be 80 degrees plus which most homes with sun exposure get. Well the Samsung AC unit was by the front door, nothing in the bedrooms so the bedrooms hit at least 85 degrees, by 9 or 10 pm maybe down to 80 so not at all comfortable. To make matters worse, the windows are the glass slat variety that don't keep out any sound and also let in some heat. The garage door is one of the loudest I have ever heard, so no sleeping through that when the other tenants come and go. With the AC on, it blows directly on the dinning table which is where I was trying to work. That area gets too cold. I asked to get out of the rental and they property manager refused. I have been at a lot of VRBOs, this is the worst experience so far. The mgt company brought out a portable cooler, set it up in the small bedroom, the heat vent was taped to the slat windows so that most of the hot air was redirected back into the room! What a joke.
