Stayed Feb 28, 2026Really nice place to stay. One block off of the beach. Great patio, availability of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and awesome patio. Little funky layout in the living room, but not a huge issue. The AC doesn't cool down, never got below 71 degrees and it was warm outside. All in all, terrific value, excellent host, and the weather was fantastic! Will definitely come back :)

Stayed Aug 8, 2025We had a wonderful stay at the Coastal Cottage. The location was perfect, not in the overly crowded area near the pier, but still close enough to walk there. Plus, the beach is literally just steps away. We'll definitely be coming back in the future!

Stayed Feb 14, 2025As pictured and advertised. Ground floor condo, interior designed for vacation rentals, clean and functional, excellent beds. Fire pit and patio is great. You can hear the neighbors above, but it’s not obtrusive. Close proximity to houses either side, some noise heard during our stay. Location is excellent.

Stayed Oct 17, 2024This is the nicest property we have rented in Newport Beach in all the years we have done this annual vacation to visit my aunt. The beach is so close that my aunt could walk to it easily. Rich is so funny and nice when you get the.checkin tour. Everything is explained in detail. Wonderful vacation place.
