Stayed Sep 5, 2025Charming farmhouse is really an understatement. This home has so many nice little touches and the scenic view from every window is beautiful. We were in town for my niece’s wedding and this beautiful home gave us a place to rest and relax in between the craziness of a wedding. The kitchen and bathrooms were also fully stocked which was important because we had a full house! The host is exceptional. He is very easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. What a wonderful weekend full of memories ?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in the farmhouse 4 nights with college friends who traveled from Dallas, TX and Little Rock, Ark. The farmhouse was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and the fire pit was a bonus. We didn’t know if not having a full bathroom for each couple would work but both bathrooms are large and it was just fine. There is a large half bath downstairs which was very nice. The views from the house are beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside taking them in and enjoying the sound of the creek on the neighboring property. It’s very private but you still see houses close by and the proximity into Abingdon was great. We made a few quick trips to Food City and Starbucks! Our group has already said they want to return next year and stay in this house. The Grahams were wonderful to work with. They gave us great recommendations and were only a text away if we needed them. I highly recommend this sweet house.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was my third visit to the cozy, yellow farmhouse this year! Two other couples joined my husband and me for a stay on order to see Murder on the Orient Express ar the Barter. Like my previous visit, the house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the views from the front porch rockers and swing. The delicious chocolate chip cookies awaiting our arrival was an appreciated added touch. The location is perfect for going to Barter Theater and nearby restaurants. Check out is easy. Overall, it's a wonderful retreat!

Stayed Sep 28, 2022We had a great time at the house, everything was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone, the beds were comfortable and the property itself is beautiful. It was also very conveniently located to the Creeper Trail, where we visited all weekend. I would highly recommend this property!

Stayed Sep 22, 2022This was our second stay at the farmhouse. We love the location. Abington is a nice little city. The farmhouse is just 20 minutes from Damascus and the part of the VA Creeper Trail that we like best. The host, Bob is fantastic.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The kitchen had everything (and more) that we needed. We've never stayed in a place better-equipped. We particularly enjoyed porch time every morning and afternoon/evening. What a delight!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Such a beautiful, cozy home and the scenic setting can’t be beat! My 3 sisters and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch each morning with our coffee and every night with our wine, and I gotta say, seeing the cows next door grazing on the hills put a smile on our faces! We had a great time in downtown Abingdon and enjoyed some of the Highland festival that was available during the weekday. We also found so many great places to eat and drink. Great home and location. Very highly recommended!

Stayed Jul 7, 2022My group of friends from college try to get together annually (for over 20 years), and this place was a perfect spot for our reunion. Clean, great kitchen, spacious, comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings. Loved sitting out on the front porch. Saw a black bear, a doe with her new fawn, and a white skunk. Hope to return & highly recommend.
