From our property you can safely walk or ride bikes anywhere on the peninsula. Conveniently located between the Balboa & Newport Piers you will never be more than 5-10 minutes from shops 30+ restaurants & bars, Balboa FunZone etc

Our home is one of two units in a two unit building.

Our home is located on the 2nd level (with an additional separate bedroom downstairs) and includes EVERYTHING YOU NEED to enjoy your family vacation at the beach. Our home has a fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc), and outdoor upper level deck, Outdoor Dining Table, Propane BBQ, On-Site Coin-Operated), Garage Parking, and much more!

HOME LOCATION:

This property is located in Balboa between 13th & 14th St. between Newport and Balboa Piers. You can walk or ride our bikes anywhere on the peninsula from this home. The best thing about this location is that you are a 5-15 minute walk to over 20+ restaurants, shopping, the balboa fun zone, boat rentals, all while staying at the beach.

For those of you with kids, The nearby Bay beach is perfect for families. Marina Park is just a few blocks away with a giant Grass area to hang out. There is also a playground on the beach at the elementary school located across the street making this home an ideal location for families.

This property accepts one (1) pet with a fee of $399 plus tax and applicable fees. All pets must be disclosed at the time of booking.     Very poorly managed- there was 2 to 6 inches of rainwater standing in the walkways with no drainage. There were no mats inside the doors to prevent our shoes from dragging water into the apartment. No coffee filters, cushions on the patio furniture were ripped and torn. All ac/heating units had two or more inches of dust and debris clogging the vent’s. The rug under the table smelled so bad we but it outside on the railing. The bedrooms door to the deck would not close- “we have to jam a chair against it. The 4th bedroom could only be accessed from the outside- there was no where to hang clothes in that room . The water poured in under the door in that bedroom and was also running down the wall into the electrical outlet. There were way too many extension cords to be legally safe.

    Fantastic location, but home was not stocked very well, nor taken care of verge well. Broken coffee mugs, very cheap silverware and a hodge podge of dishes, flatware and cooking items. We stay in VRBO's all over the world and this one seems the owners don't take pride in ownership. Mismatch of furniture. Seemed like they went to 2nd hand stores and just threw the home together. It could be so cute and nice. For the price we were pretty disappointed. Thanks goodness for the deck. It was a saving grace because the property is so small. Also as an FYI for future guests are literally on top of each other and quiet time begins at 9:00pm. You have to shut down the deck at 9:00. We didn't have a problem with that and our adult kids played games inside after 9:00pm. We wanted to be respectful of the neighbors. Best part was the deck and location!

    Perfect location to walk to both piers. Plenty to do in this part of California. The house was absolutely perfect for 7 people to stay comfortably!

    We had a lovely stay at this property. The unit is updated and very clean. It is a quick, and fun walk to restaurants and nightlife. The outdoor roof deck is a nice bonus and a fun place to hang outside.

    Over all the location was not ideal with kids since we had to cross street to get to beach. Linen on bed was stained, no pillow cases for extra pillows. Not enough blankets for all the rooms. Patio furniture felt unsafe to sit holes and weakened fabric. We left the evening before checkout.
