Stayed Mar 16, 2025We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and the views were unbeatable. The location was nice with decent street parking in addition to the garage. We did not park in the garage as it was a tight fit but used it for our rental bikes and surf boards which was handy. It was an easy walk from the home to the pier, some restaurants and the fun zone area. The location on the boardwalk was perfect for walks and biking. The home's decor was pretty dated but we found that was easily overlooked for the view and location.

But Burr White Realty was able to reschedule and the trip was made by my Daughter and her child and husband. They said it was Prefect.

A short walk across the boardwalk is all it takes to get to the sand. The view from the top deck is fantastic. Perfect place to watch all of the Junior Lifeguard Action! The amenities were sufficient for cooking in when needed. Great open area for hanging out with family. The waves at C street can get quite large. Just be aware when swimming with small children. Great location for fun zone, and fairy to Balboa Island. We will be back!

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, on the beach, near the pier. I would have expected the place to be cleaner, especially during COVID. There was dirt and dust, which could have been prevented by a minor wipe down. Pilot light was out upon arrival, so no hot water for a full day, they said due to a faulty gas valve. I would suggest bringing your own sheets and towels as they are very low grade.
