Booking this piece of paradise is highly recommended! After an exhaustive search of many properties, we selected this property for a very special multi-generational family vacation. (Group of 7, ages 4-77). We wanted to create closeness, but also allow for privacy, and luxury, but also to feel close to the natural surroundings. This home exceeded our highest expectations in all areas. The layout is thoughtful, with families in mind. Quality, tasteful and comfortable decor and furnishings throughout and appliances top notch. Beautifully decorated, no detail was spared. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with new, high-end appliances and the bathrooms sparkle with luxury. All towels and linens are 5 stars. In and out there are cozy nooks and places to enjoy the sea salt air while reading, entertaining, or enjoying intimate conversations. Extra touches throughout reflect pride of ownership. Optimal location for exploring all of Newport and surrounding beaches, but tucked away in a secure and safe, quiet residential area so you feel like you almost have your own private island! Owners Gigi and Nicole were responsive, and warm and really committed to ensuring we enjoyed our stay, which we all certainly did. It felt almost like borrowing a good friend's vacation home, which we plan to do, again, soon!!!

We are traveling from Provence, France. Your house is magnifique! It is a long way for us from France, but well worth the trip! The furnishings in your home were exquisite and elegant - wonderful coordinated decor. This house was even more beautiful than the pictures we see on the internet. The home was extremely clean and everything we needed. It really fit our entire family very comfortable. We spent our time on the beach, body surfing, biking, kayaking, surfing, walking, relaxing on the patio, and entertaining friends and family from France that also visited your area. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants that we walked to from the house - especially the Cannery and Sabatinos. My husband really liked the large flat screen TV in the master and I loved the quality beds and linens and fabulous kitchen. Many nights we ate dinner outside in the private enclosed patio for bar-b-que. At sunset, we enjoyed the view from the second story veranda. We had a nice and relaxed vacation and the weather was excellent. This home is in a quiet street but you are close to all the activities so we enjoyed the best of both worlds. We highly recommend this property. So much better than a hotel. No comparison. Thank you! We will visit again - Merci Beaucoup! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home in a perfect location. A short bike ride to the beach, and our kids were jumping off the Jaws bridge! My daughter especially liked the shopping and the charm of Lido and the peninsula, within easy walking distance from the house - we walked to great cafes, the Lido theatre - and our favorite- Bear Flag for fresh sushi almost every day. We cooked lobsters and steaks, grilled outside, and enjoyed meals outdoors on the enclosed comfy patio. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable, as is the living room and family room. The house comes completely equipped with everything you need for the beach - toys, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, umbrellas & chairs, you get the idea. A spacious back yard offers plenty of room to throw a ball around and play games with the kids. Between the great shopping just a few minutes away and Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza, and the great privacy of the island, we are looking forward to coming back next summer!

We stayed in this Lido Island property for our family reunion/summer holiday - all 8 of us. I have to say that the pictures on HomeAway don't do this amazing home justice! It's obvious when you walk through the door that the owner put a lot of love into the home - every finish is upscale and the decor and setting is very pristine. The house is perfect for large groups - enough space to spread out and get away if you want to. The kitchen is well stocked and each of the bedrooms had comfortable beds and pillows. If you have a NetFlix account you can sign in to watch your movies. Our kids enjoyed using the outdoor shower after long days at the beach. The house is off the beaten path - very private island. Kids enjoyed seeing the paddle boarding and kayaking which is right next to the property and also renting duffy boats. We had a blast on the gondola rides which reminded us of Venice. Our favorite restaurant, steps off the island was the Bear Flag Fish- great seafood at reasonable prices. Place your order at the counter, then go grab a seat at one of the picnic tables outside or inside at the sushi counter. The owner exceeded our expectations and is a really nice. All emails were answered quickly, met us at the house when we arrived, and was available during our stay via text. If you're thinking about staying here and see that it's available - BOOK IT - you'll have a stay you'll never forget.

This property is a gem, nestled among other beautiful homes on Lido Island. Ideal for a family, it's just across the street from a private beach and playground for the kids and adults can take advantage of the docks and SUP rentals. In addition to the upstairs master BR, there are three other BRs that share a Jack and Jill bath and nice shower. Of course, the master BR has its own large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and an attached cedar closet. The bathroom heater was especially welcome on a chilly November morning. We've stayed in many vacation rental homes but this one was the most immaculately clean that I've ever seen. There was not one spot of dust on any surface. The spaces are comfortable and very nicely decorated. The linens are first-rate, too. Most importantly the owner was very responsive to all emails and questions. She answered every email, phone call or text within minutes and made sure we all had the best time. Will definitely be back and have already referred family and friends! Thanks again!

Location, location, location. This home is in the best place - we could walk to restaurants, the beach, kayaking. My family was in heaven! The pictures don't do it justice. Great spot for relaxing and enjoying what Newport has to offer. Recommending this property to all our friends!

This summer we decided to stay along the coast in Newport Beach and ended up finding a real gem! The property we chose is on an island, with ALL imaginable recreational sports just a block from the house. The property had a great, large enclosed patio for dining al fresco, and the house itself was impeccable, down to the last detail. We have 3 kids, so we were able to enjoy all the various amenities provided by the owners including beach toys, umbrellas, and many other goodies left for our use. The kids were either at one of the 2 beaches on the island, or they were kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, etc. - very tired by the end of the day! We did not want for anything - including snorkel gear! We had an absolutely wonderful time and would recommend this for a vacation to everyone wanting to stay in Southern California. We definitely give this property a 5 star rating!!!

There are many things that make this a great property: (1) Location - across the street from the beach; within walking distance of surf/kayak, duffy boat rentals, gondola boat rides and many shops; close to Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza for incredible shopping and dining. (2) Patio - we loved the beautiful, large, enclosed patio; it was the perfect place to sit, read, enjoy, and grill. (3) Beaches - 2 private beaches on the island - one for the kids and one for adults AND kids - with a great water slide (4) Owners - The whole family isabsolutely the BEST. They all work hard to make sure her property is well-maintained and that visitors are happy. There is care and concern for visitors that is genuine. We would highly recommend this property for a relaxing, safe and comfortable holiday vacation! We wish we could have stayed longer!

We were visiting Orange County for my brothers wedding. We had a lot of people coming from all over the United States, especially a large group of us from Chicago. We figured we would come early, enjoy the weather in Newport Beach and get situated before the 375 person wedding we had ahead of us. We came across this place on VRBO, and it was probably the best thing we could have done! The propety owner, is a gem! She was always available to help us if we had any questions. She was very patient and accomodating! I am so grateful that we were able to work with her and not a random property manager. Now that I have mentioned how wonderful she is, let me get started on the HOUSE!!! We had 4 couples that stayed in this house, while all the others stayed in hotels... majority of the time they were at this beach house enjoying the view and people watching. The house is adorable, has a garage, washer and dryer, kitchen, everything you need to feel at home! The view of the images on this sight do no justice, it is absolutely breathtaking! The house is spotless, beds are comfortable and the patio was very nice and large and private, and we were abe to sit out and have breakfast/lunch and dinner. We plan on coming to visit Newport Beach next year because my brother and his wife are expecting and we hope that this place is available again, to rent. You will have no regrets renting this beautiful beach house! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Hi, my wife and I stayed at this beautiful home located on Lido Isle in Newport Beach, Ca. We wanted a large house, located close to all the entertainment parks and beaches, that we wanted to take our young grand kids to see. This is that home! Easy access to all by freeway, but great to come back to and live as a family - in truly a home away from home. Secure and safe for our young grand kids; and so quiet at night that you hear no noises whatsoever. We made the right choice and you will too. The pictures do not do this incredible home justice - you have to how see just how beautiful this home is and what a great location this is. We told the owners we'd love to return! Enjoy!
