Lakefront Fun for All Seasons - Hot Tub, Firepit & Sleeps 21. Near Creeper Trail

We enjoyed having a place large enough for 13 people and overall everyone had a good time. There were several things that I would like to suggest that would improve the stay. Most glaring was safety for small kids. There was a closet full of power cords ,electrical panel and internet connections that was not secure in a bunkbed room.. Also there was an opening between two rooms that appeared to once contain a window but was just covered by a cloth. Of course our small ones climbed right through it and droped down into the other room before we caught them. There was a vaping device found in the living room couch. Last thing is that we could not find but one controller and that was the Living room TV. The DVD player in upstairs master bedroom would not even open when tried manually. Downstairs did not function right either. The Door in upstairs mastersuite to the patio came off in my husbands hand and he had try to fix it the best he could. Celining fan had exposed wiring . We just thought overall the house needed a little tender loving care. The kitchen was well equipped :) and the view was lovely

Our host was very attentive and the home was welcoming. Although many amenities were not useable because of the weather and time of year we enjoyed watching the fish jump and the scenery was beautiful.

The house was spacious and had a wonderful view of the lake. The kids loved swimming in the lake and taking kayak rides. The house was clean with a nicely stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay again!

Plenty of room for family ages 6 months to 83 years for a long weekend. Rented a pontoon boat for a day from one of the local marinas and the kids enjoyed the inflatables at Sportsman's Marina. The kitchen has everything we needed for family dinners and game nights.

This was our first time to Abingdon and to this house. The house, surrounding mountains and lake far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed all of the house, especially the sunroom and appreciated the many bedrooms. We swam in the lake, kayaked, and used the hot tub everyday. We rented a pontoon boat one day which was fun. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. It was very well equipped for fixing meals at home. We found numerous bath towels for the bathrooms and beach towels to use at the lake. We highly recommend this lake house. There was plenty of room for our family of 10. We hope to come again. I will add photos later.

This was a perfect spot for our family to stay the weekend and celebrate our favorite Emory and Henry graduate!!

Booked this home for a large family before a wedding. The owner was very responsive to questions and was able to help us quickly with a reservation change. Plenty of great spaces indoors and out for gathering and conversation. Nice view of the lake. Definitely recommend.

This house is fantastic! My son got married in nearby Abingdon, Virginia and we stayed here for the weekend. It was perfect for my 11 adult kids. Spacious, welcoming, perfect gathering areas, great kitchen to cook, and exceptionally clean. Can't recommend this location enough!!

Upon checking in, the laundry room extra refrigerator was in the middle of the floor with water and debris and items from the laundry were piled on the kitchen floor. It took 3 calls and a text before we got a response from the host. House was very dusty causing allergies in a family member. Dock was in dangerous disrepair. Hundreds of Bugs seen in downstairs bath. Bugs also seen in kitchen and in some cookware. A/C did not work on main level. Hot tub did not work properly. House was only worth at best about 1/3 of what I paid. I personally own a VRBO property and know what it takes to run one. This one did not live up to its previous ratings. Will not stay again.

The R2R Book club LOVED this awesome home! Everything was a expected and our host was very responsive. We all expect to return - either as a group or with our individual families.

We booked this property due to location on the lake, the pictures did not do it justice the home is everything and more. We celebrated a 70th surprise birthday, company meeting and family time all packed into a weekend. The home was more than full of accommodations that made the weekend perfect.

We had a fantastic weekend. The house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Bethany and the homeowners are very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this property rental.

This was the perfect house for our family of 12 - four generations. Fabulous view from the porch and sunroom. Plenty of space to relax. Great fishing and swimming off the dock, and a beautiful lake for kayaking. Well equipped kitchen. Bethany was awesome to work with. Our family is already planning a return trip next year!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is spacious and has a spectacular view.

I stayed at the Doug Out with 14 other people to include children and adults. We had a great time and enjoyed the lake, boat, and other activities. The layout of the house was great for our group.
