Great location and no issues with the place at all …
My husband and family came in for our son’s graduation from UVM…. Perfect location! We had a great stay at 11 Union Street. We were a short walk to all the Church Street restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the house as it had plenty of room and was fully stocked to make meals. We made our smoothies with the blender provided and enjoyed the Newman’s coffee for the Keurig. The property manager was very helpful and responsive in preparing for the trip. The home was clean and the beds very comfortable. Great home and location. Will definitely be back to visit again soon!!
Spent two nights here while bicycling in the Burlington/Shelburne area. Were very pleased with this large home with off-street parking for two vehicles. Easy walk or pedal to the pedestrian mall and a local fresh market. Easy access to the Burlington recreational path for cycling, jogging, or walking. The hosts left welcoming touches, making for a personalized stay while avoiding face-to-face contact during this the covid19 era.
We thoroughly enjoy the house, the location, And the pleasant extras-bottle of wine. We hope to return next year
Very nice location, super clean and comfortable. Easy access to the home. We enjoyed our stay!
The place was great and the location was prefect! Definitely coming back
This property was perfect! It was very clean, cozy, so close to downtown but far enough away that it was very peaceful and quiet. The complimentary wine and pellegrino was an added bonus as it fit into our girls weekend perfectly! We can’t wait to book this property again and explore more of Burlington. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We've visited the Burlington area many times, but this was the first opportunity we've had to stay in town--and what a fabulous central location it was! The home is beautifully appointed, very spacious, with lots of charming outdoor places to relax. In walking distance of restaurants, waterside, shops & museums....and perfectly placed to get further afield for area day trips. Just remember, you're in a bustling college town! Great communication with manager and a smooth stay!
Absolutely gorgeous property on the banks of a stunning river next to a vegan cafe and yoga studio. Steps from all the fun things in Burlington. This stay was such a romantic respite, and Jennifer and Gregg were beyond generous and kind. If I, or anyone I know, is headed to Burlington I would recommend they book with a Jennifer and Gregg first before anyone else. Way better then a hotel! Seriously can’t reccomend this play enough. A full size (small) kitchen makes setting up a cozy dinner or breakfast so easy, the bed was luxurious and it’s location makes everything so accessible!
We had a very pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the Church Street Marketplace and downtown. Our only issue was the heat, as the weather was very warm during our stay. While the two upstairs bedrooms have window AC units, the small bedroom on the first floor does not and it was uncomfortably hot at night.
The home was very clean and the pictures online were a nice representation of what to expect. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and the porches were perfect for a nice relaxing cup of coffee. Also, if you are looking to be close to Church St and downtown I doubt you will find a more conveniently located house. There are a couple issues. I won’t call them bad just things to be aware of when planning your trip. That great location comes with a down side as the foot traffic between 11 pm and 3 am was very rowdy. Also, the third bedroom is quite small and there isn’t any A/C for that bedroom. Those two issues probably won’t be issues at all 9 months out of the year. It just happened to be rather warm one of the nights we were there. It made for a tough night’s sleep for the couple in the room without A/C since they couldn’t really open the windows due to the noise. We had fun, the house was well maintained and very historic. You’ll be happy there and I would recommend it.
The house is lovely inside and noticeably bigger than the pictures convey. Check-in and out was clear and easy and Susan promptly answered questions. The location could not better: 3 blocks to church street, 3.5 blocks to a nice grocery store, 3 blocks to the ymca, 6 blocks to the University of Vermont. Also walkable to the waterfront. The only issue is that with a tenant in rear apartment (she is quiet), parking was very tight for two cars.
This house was everything we needed! Susan the host was more than accommodating to any questions or needs we had. Would recommend for group of friends and families. Definitely will bel looking to stay here again next summer!
Chocolate and wine welcomed us when we walked in and it only got better from there!
Lovely home with comfortable beds with A/C upstairs bedroom. No A/C for downstairs and downstairs bedroom too uncomfortably warm. Very nice touch to include wine on counter and water bottles and seltzer in refrigerator on arrival. Also appreciated ambient noise machines in upstairs bedrooms. Very enjoyable stay all in all.
Great house, great location, easy process. We had a great time. Property was immaculately clean. Would absolutely stay again.
The location of this property is great. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy the area on foot. We came for graduation and had plenty of room and amenities to enjoy our special celebration. Thank you Hanleys!
House was very clean and well maintained. The Owner left us a bottle of wine in the kitchen and the house was in a great location! Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling there.
Excellent place for Burlington VT. We stayed with two kids and my in-laws. Plenty of room to stretch out, play around, cook, etc. Walking distance to all you need. Plus comfortable beds!
Fantastic location, fantastic response and interaction with Property Manager Susan. Beautiful renovation of a charming old brick building. All of the comfort of home and a very reasonable rate for the location. Clean, warm, charming home and excellent touches by the owners and management to make us feel welcomed and comfortable right from the start! Definitely will be looking to stay here again next winter! Thanks again Susan and ownership for a SUPERB location and stay! 5-Stars all around!
Susan the Host was more than accommodating to any questions or needs we had, and the place was spotless clean with more space than anticipated! Would recommend for couples, famalies, or just a group of friends getting together in Burlington area. We skied both jay peak and Stowe during our stay!
