Welcome to the Decompression Zone on Little Spider Lake!
The area is beautiful all 4 seasons and boasts incredible natural resources including thousands of lakes, over 1 million acres of state and national forest, 60 hiking and biking trails, and over 600 miles of snowmobile trails. Sled the trails right from the end of the driveway!
The Decompression Zone offers 1,500 square feet of comfort and leisure. The inviting living room features a large stone fireplace. The cheerful sunroom overlooks the lake with fantastic western views and there is a screened porch facing the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen is newly remodeled with new appliances, solid countertops, and hardwood cabinets.
The property sits on 1.5 acres with mature oak, pine, maple, and birch. There is over 100 ft of lake frontage with nice clear water and sandy bottom with some small rocks. A 60 step staircase leads to the lake with an 8ft x 12ft deck built halfway down. The swimming area slopes gently and gets about a foot deeper every 10 feet.
Little Spider Lake is a great fishing lake and relatively quiet and is home to a population of eagles, loons, and blue herons. Although there are several properties on the lake, many are seasonal and aren't often occupied. The Decompression Zone faces undeveloped state owned shoreline. Enjoy spectacular views from the deck overlooking the lake.
Fish for walleyes, musky, smallies, northern, crappie, and panfish from the private dock or try your luck at one of the hundreds of nearby lakes. Enjoy swimming, boating and some of the most spectacular sunsets you'll ever see right off the deck over Little Spider Lake. As the waning sunlight fades, crack open a cold one and enjoy an evening campfire outside or a crackling fire in the hearth inside!
Walk down the driveway in the morning, turn right and enjoy breakfast at The Northern Cafe. If you turn left and go about 100 yards, you're at Marty's Place North for dinner. It's just a short drive to town for fun local attractions, unique shops, and restaurants.

House was beautiful and had everything needed. It was extremely clean when we arrived. The plan was to eat out a couple of nights, but once we found out the kitchen had everything required we cooked and ate all meals at the house. Close enough to everything but far enough away to feel secluded. Highly recommend the Decompression Zone for a small family or 2 couples. Only drawback was the 60 steps down to the lake. Otherwise everything else was perfect.
Little Spider lake is a quite Northwoods lake and the decompression zone has great views in a perfect setting.
It was a wonderful weekend and a wonderful house. Had the best time. Wish they would of out how to use inside fireplace but other than that would use the house again. The view was stunning with the Fall colors. The open concept was great for hanging out.
The property itself was great! My only feedback is lack of response from management company. I reached out a few days before our arrival with a few questions and never received a response.
Very nice home on a beautiful lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here at the Decompression Zone house!
