The Cowboys Sunset Retreat is a gorgeous new home. Everything inside celebrates the American west - Beautiful locally made log furniture and railing - bathroom vanity made from a used wine barrel - reclaimed horseshoes set into the stone in the showers (& yes we ride the horses the shoes came from) stunning sunset photography of my Cowboy, me & our 5 little cowgirls (they are our top Ranch hands!) - oil lamp replicas throughout the home. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances & granite countertops. Come relax with us as you enjoy Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon & the Grand Canyon.
Lots of space to spread out and the furniture was really comfortable. We loved the cowboy theme, but also the modern kitchen!
This cabin may look small on the outside, but on the inside we had plenty of room with everything we needed. Everyone had their own room, and the kids loved playing in the loft. The only thing was that the pictures we initially saw made the cabin appear to be in the country. However you are right off the road, but there is a good turn around lane. We only had one vehicle so we fit in the driveway fine. Overall this is a great stay and we loved the cabin.
This was a great place to stay for a family. It was near the road butost of your time is spent at the surrounding National Parks. We were only a block from our guided tours. There is also Red Hollow Slot Canyon very near that you can explore on your own. Our host was super accommodating.
This rental was amazing! Fulling stocked with anything you could need, super easy location to find. The decor was wonderfully inviting. Hostess was more than accommodating. Truly one of the nicest rentals we have stayed in. Very much recommend it.
This place is beautiful! It is the perfect place to stay especially if you plan to go to Zion National Park and even the North Rim of Grand Canyon . We plan to take this trip again and plan to stay here!
We had just left a HORRIBLE VRBO property so I was worried about this one. We could not have been happier! Super clean and soooo cute! I took three showers in the two nights we were there - I felt like I was in a spa!!! Definitely recommend!!!
What a great home to return to after long days of hiking. We spent five days at the property while we explored Zion NP, Bryce Canyon, NP, Buckskin Gulch and volunteered at Best Friends' Animal Sanctuary. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The tupperware was a nice touch... made it easy to pack lunches for our hikes. The bathrooms were great too-- everything was very clean and new, with shampoo and conditioner ready to use. And it was so nice to have the laundry and the grill. The location is pretty convenient to everything we did. Warning... there are often long waits at the tunnel to get into Zion NP. Plan accordingly... we were surprised by it and almost missed our shuttle window. Also, we tried to order pizza in town one night after a long day in Zion and it was a 2.5 hour wait! Pizza shop couldn't keep up with the demand for orders. Yet, I am still glad we stayed in this central location and the house more than made up for it. The house is on the main highway but we were not bothered by road noise. It was nice to take advantage of the grocery store just down the street to get last minute items we needed. There were nice touches throughout the house... the cowboy theme was adorable... the bedrooms were spacious and had room for all of our stuff. We had a little trouble with the internet/wifi when we had multiple people doing zoom calls and streaming but for general use, it was fine. I'd recommend and would stay again when I return to Utah.
Good location between bryce and zion
Great clean well kept property close to Zion, Bryce and Duck Creek. Plenty of space for the 10 of us, and a great loft area for the kids to hang out.
Wonderfully decorated with wood trimming and ranch décor. Well furnished kitchen. We enjoyed using the fireplace.
We love this location that gives you easy access to both Zion and Bryce. The home was a great base to explore SW Utah from. Super clean and super easy.
Perfect for our needs! Communication was great with the owners.
Located easily, found keys fast. Entered the home and it was clean and comfy. Rooms are well equipped, kitchen was just like been at home. I am a clean freak .. so I would just say that windows and kitchen shelves, top need more cleaning. But would definitely return. Thank you
The property was very clean, Harmony responded quickly to all our questions! She also helped me by recommending someone to make a cake for my son. Thank you Harmony will definitely stay again if we come back to Utah!!!
Very comfortable and loved the fun decor. Well stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare a meal. Enjoyed hanging on the sofa to watch a movie. Would stay again if we were travelling in the area in the future. No issue with the location, it worked fine for us, overall nice to have expectations definitely exceeded!
Great location, spacious and nicely appointed kitchen. The locals are very nice and the town has an interesting history. When I arrived, on the porch and blocking the front door, were three large boxes...one was a super heavy folding bed. Both owners were not available to come and move these and I had to relocate these myself to the storage shed behind the house to be able to get to the front door. If you are renting your place and not around, it might be a good idea not to have large Amazon deliveries to the house. Other than this inconvenient “welcome”, we did enjoy the house. The front room has a nice shower, beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a washer and dryer.
Great property for a party of unrelated adults. Plenty of room and bathroom space. Fantastic location for exploring Bryce and Zion Parks
Wonderful stay. Felt comfortable and relaxing in the little town of Orderville.
Midway between Bryce and Zion. Very convenient and easy driving distance. Accurate description and all was as expected. Quite cute, we had never lived in a rustic ranch style house. Lot of space in upstairs attic area for kids to play in. Would definitely stay again if we were to vist the area again.
Great location for the parks of Zion and Bryce Canyon. Small town feel. Very comfortable house and well appointed.
Our family enjoyed this cozy home for a few days! The kids loved playing in the loft and were excited to find a few toys to play with. It is well stocked and very clean! We would definitely stay here again in the future.
Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The home has 4 bedrooms, each clean and tastefully decorated. This was great for our teenage kids. They each had a room with a full size bed. It is located east of Zion National park and south of Bryce Canyon, which is convenient. The home had everything we needed to prepare meals. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
We stayed for three nights to visit Zion and Bryce. Orderville is very convenient to both. Terry’s is a great local grocery store to buy your supplies. The German bakery is great also. Harmony was very quick to answer a question I had. We would definitely recommend this place for family and friends
The property was as described. With the upstairs loft sofa bed, all 4 grand-kids had their own space. Us grandparents had the bedroom with on-suite bathroom. Showers were great, nice linen, and very comfortable beds. We had a lot of delays getting in out of Las Vegas. but the place was easy to find in the mioddle of the night.
As the pictures show, the home is beautifully decorated in a cowboy/country theme. Everything was clean and in working order. The location is in town and on a major road (not so country in that sense) but the neighborhood and the road were both quiet at night. There was a good supply of dishes and ample space for our family of 8. Recommended!
Clean and comfy! Well located for seeing multiple national parks. There’s also a good German bakery right up the road our group enjoyed!
Convenient place to stay to visit Zion's and Bryce Canyons. Modern appliances with a country feel. Owner's were very helpful for finding local attractions.
Amazing and responsible hosts! Well furnished apartment in Orderville. Perfect for our stay during our visits to the national parks. Friendly bakery and stones shop nearby too. Thank you.
This was a great location for visiting many parks. We liked doing this rather than moving locations every day or two. We went to Bryce, Zion, skiing at Bryan Head, and Antelope Canyon all within two hours drive. We liked all the extras included with this home like fuzzy blankets, Roku TV, seasonings, shampoo and conditioner, etc. We liked are stay here.
This was a trip with our daughter's family with three teenage grandchildren. It was the perfect location between Zion and Bryce and loved the way it was decorated in true cowboy style. The grandkids loved the fact that they each had their own bedroom and our grandson opted to sleep on the second floor and he loved having his own space so we called it his man cave! The kitchen was total stocked with every type of appliance, seasonings, coffee, etc. etc. So nice not to have to buy those items. We also loved the grill and cooked hamburgers on our first night. There is an amazing slot canyon almost right behind the house that we ventured out to. This house is immaculate and we will definitely stay there again when traveling to Zion and Bryce. My wife left her prescriptions glasses there and the owners were so nice in mailing them back to us. We also loved the story behind the house, owned by their grandparents and the kitchen table and chairs were awesome and so unique. Thanks so much for your hospitality.
We had a great time staying at Harmony and Dustin's place! It was great to come home to after long days of hiking. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.
We had a Great time staying in your house. Everything was clean and well supplied with every thing we needed. We really appreciated all the detail you put into are stay. We would definitely recommend to our friends and we would like to stay again in the future. P.S. My wife really enjoyed cooking in your nice kitchen Thank You Shawn and Paula
The location was great for quick access to both Bryce and Zion National Parks. The showers were nice and hot no matter what place in line your were for the shower. Kitchen was well stocked and the place was very clean.
What a beautiful place to stay for our family vacation. The kitchen had everything you could ask for from stainless steel appliances to kitchen tools and dishes. The beds were comfortable, we had more than enough space for the six of us, and the furniture and decorations were just amazing. The home is about an hour from Bryce Canyon and half an hour from Zion - perfect location. We would definitely stay there again.
The house was in a great location to visit Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. It was fully stocked kitchen, clean, comfortable beds and loved the cowboy theme. The owners were attentive and very responisve to my questions. They recommended several restaurants and they were all good.
A great home away from home! Comfortable and plentiful amenities. We enjoy cooking our own meals while traveling and this home was well equipped to do that. Nothing like smelling dinner in the crockpot when you arrive home from a full day of hiking and exploring! Location provides easy access to Zion as well as Bryce and even the North Rim (Grand Canyon) and the Glen Canyon Dam were an easy day trip! Highly recommend this home if you are looking to be away from crowds and traffic!
Great as advertised. Kitchen, bedrooms, laundry, it has it all.
We enjoyed staying in The Cowboys Sunset Retreat. It is an cozy house. The description and photos are true. The house is well equipped for cooking and barbeque - also for 6 adults. We enjoyed visiting Bryce Canyon National Park and a little caynon near Orderville. Zion National Park was closed (flood after a thunder storm). We can absolute recommend the house.
Don’t rent this house when I want to rent it, that is. Let me start out by listing all the things I think this house/host/hostess was lacking: #1)................... That’s right, nothing. Here’s the lowdown. Very nice house right in the middle of Zion (45 minutes away) and Bryce (75 minutes away). If you leave the house at 7AM to go to either park, you are almost guaranteed of getting a parking space at each’s visitor center parking. With the four bedrooms and loft pull-out bed, our party of nine slept comfortably and could easily fit a few more. Central A/C made it wonderful to come back to after warm days of hiking. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. For the television, I recommend you bring a HDMI cord and adapter so you can hook up your device to feed it. It really felt like a home away from home. Any household item for the kitchen, bathroom/shower; and laundry room you could think of, they had. The parking area fit our two large SUVs easily and another could have parked in front of the house. The WiFi signal was adequate for the almost dozen devices we hooked into it. But if you bring in that many devices and a few of those start streaming, expect some lag. ( This is not a negative comment towards the house, but just a piece of advice.) The front loading washer and dryer also helped us pack less than normal and was a godsend for us to clean our clothes after a few days of hiking. Great communication/ follow up with the owners and e-mails ir texts were answered by the next day. I could go on, but you get the picture. If the rating went higher than 5 stars, I’d give it that too. Awesome experience!
We just spent 9 nights in Cowboys Sunset Retreat. We loved it! It was conveniently located, beautiful house with everything you need and Harmony was so gracious to work with. She makes sure you'll have everything you need. It is a great location to do so much in Utah! I highly recommend this place.
Harmony was so accommodating, and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay went great. We were traveling with two infants and she helped make the stay go smoothly by providing high chairs and pack n plays. Everything was neat and plenty of room for four couples. We were visiting for a wedding at the nearby Pink Sand Dunes and this ranch served as a perfect home base for our weekend!
We had a great stay at Cowboys Sunset. Nice home and very accommodating hosts.
First of all, you'll never meet better hosts than Dustin and Harmony. They genuinely care about your comfort and well-being leading up to and through your stay. This vacation property is located perfectly between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon so it makes traveling to either park very convenient. Within walking distance is a grocery store and a coffee shop/restaurant which is great also. This was one of the most comfortable homes we've stayed in because it honestly felt like we were staying at a friend's home. They had everything you needed from the pots/pans, cooking supplies and utensils all the way to a large gas grill. The home was perfect for our family because it has 4 bedrooms with large beds that comfortably slept our family of 5, but it actually accommodates a whole bunch more. Book this home...it's the right combination of class, comfort and charm!
I love this house. Cozy, confortable and clean. Has everything you may need. Harmony is always available to answer any of your questions. I definitely recommend this place 100%.
We enjoyed our stay and want to thank Dustin and Harmony! We were especially grateful to have a full setup in the kitchen as well as laundry. The town is very small and the home is right on the main highway but truth be told most of the town is. We did not select the home because of the town itself but for its proximity to surrounding parks. There is a cool canyon about a half mile from the home which the kids loved to explore. Thanks again!
From the moment we walked in, we were in awe! Beautifully decorated, brand spanking new appliances, and very private despite being right on the highway. Our grand kids enjoyed staying up in the loft--that was their kingdom. Our rooms were very comfy with nice mattresses and sheets that were so soft! There was every imaginable kitchen tool and even some staples for baking or cooking with. We didn't need it this trip, but it was nice to have a washer and dryer available. The bathrooms were very nicely done. All in all, it was a very impressive place and I would definitely stay again when I'm in town!
Very clean , quiet inside despite being right off of highway 89. Very easy to get to. If you are anywhere near orderville this is the place to stay. The home is very well kept and has great parking. There wasn't anything that I would have made our stay better. Dustin and harmony have a beautiful place. We loved the personal silhouette pictures of them on their horses!
