R&S Lakeside Cottage Beautiful Large Sand Beach Door County Limestone Fireplace

This was the perfect getaway stay! We (dog included) loved the views of lake and easy access to the beach!

We loved this property. The views of the sunrise in the morning and the beach access and hiking nearby are all great attributes. It was a very comfortable stay.

From the moment you step into Russ and Stacey's cabin you feel immediately at home. The location is absolutely spectacular and feels like a slice of heaven. They are exceptional host's and have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be back!!

We absolutely loved this cottage as a last-minute wintry weekend getaway. The view was stunning, and the fireplace made it cozy. The cottage is adorable and we appreciated the amenities provided. Everything worked great with check-in, and Russ and Stacy are great hosts.

This is my second stay, I love this little spot and am hopeful that I get the chance to stay again sometime. Highly Recommend!!

This lake house is spacious, but warm and inviting, The internet pictures don't do it justice. The back yard is large with a cute gazebo if you want to eat lunch outside. The screen porch is is perfect if your dog enjoys being outside, with having to be tied up. I will gladly recommend this home to anyone who wants Lake Michigan just steps away.

The cabin was clean and in a picturesque setting that was remote, yet close to everything. It first appealed to us for the one-floor living. No stairs. We are three seniors, so that’s a big plus. Cabin is very well equipped and decor is whimsical and nautical. Our host was very prompt to reply to any questions, and provided more than what we expect for a stay. We will recommend this to others!

A little slice of Heaven on the Lake Michigan shore. Gorgeous cabin on a tree lined road perfect for walking your pup. Beach is pretty and perfect! Highly recommend bonfire under the stars with the gentle music of the waves. One of the best stays I've had in Wisconsin. Hope to be back someday.

A comfortable and roomy cabin in a fantastic location. Less than 15 minutes to downtown Sturgeon Bay. The beach is wonderful.

We had the most lovely and cozy stay at this cabin. Super clean. Beautifully decorated. Ideal for staying in or going out. It was truly one of the most magical vacations we have ever had.

Dixie welcomed us when we arrived at the cottage. Sweetest welcome ever;) loved the cottage, the beach, the location. Perfect little getaway to relax and enjoy nature.Cottage was exactly as pictured and the beach and the sunrises were even more beautiful in person!

Spectacular location, right on pristine and very private walkable beach. Firepit on beach and great wood burning fireplace, all set up and ready to go. Cabin is updated and very nice. Pictures don't do justice as to how clean, comfortable and nice it is. The host, Russ, was very accommodating and responsive.

We had an awesome and relaxing time on the property and adjacent beach and Land Trust Park. We enjoyed the traditional theme of the cabin and all the amenities provided. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the quiet and picturesque setting.

Loved our stay here! Exactly what we needed to get away and relax for a few days

My husband and I decided to get away for a few days so I jumped on VRBO and found this property...what a find! We arrived in the evening and the place was all lit up and welcoming. We headed to the beach in plain view and just across the one lane road. The view of the beach from the cabin was awesome! The cabin was extremely clean, fireplace was set up and ready to light and we used it eery night! The kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed meeting our host, Russ as well as his wonderful dog Dixie who we played with on the beach. We enjoyed day trips to different Door County towns, state and county parks and more. The location of the cabin is secluded but not far from anything. It was chilly but did not keep us from enjoying the beach! There was really no cell service at the cabin, however there was a landline we had access to. We did have great WIFI so we could text some from our computers. By no means did that in anyway dampen the trip :-) The only down was that we didn't stay longer :-) We are already planning our next trip and can not wait to once again stay at this lovely property! If you want a place that has everything you need, beautiful atmosphere, fun things to do in the area and a lovely host....this is your place!!!

Wish I was the owner of this property. Absolutely lovely quiet street it's on with the most amazing beach this side of the lake. Honestly everything about it was perfect.

Great place to stay. Everything we needed, comfortable, clean and amazing views out the front window. We enjoyed having meals or coffee at the table by the front window that looks out to the beach or taking a walk along the shore and enjoying the views. Nice front and back yard area for us and our dog too.

I just wanted to share a few words about the amazing time we had at this location. First, the location of the cottage is amazing - steps away from a beautiful beach and a great section of coastline. We were there at the end of what I would call the “tourist season” and we had the beach all to ourselves! The overall condition of the cottage was excellent, and the cleanliness was second to none.. The host did a great job providing lots of little creature comforts for us, and there wouldn’t be anything I could suggest to have had a more comfortable stay. This host is very pet friendly and we had a great time with our dog and letting him run up and down the coastline chasing birds! Communication with a host was excellent and at no time did we feel like there was an issue getting hold of him? Should we have any questions. I would highly recommend this losting and don’t have even the smallest amount of constructive criticism. We will definitely come back to this location again!

Great cabin with the beach right across the street. Saw the Northern Lights on our visit and plenty of stars at night. Quiet location and good for a chance to rest and relax!

Everything was absolutely PERFECT...location, view, host, amenities!!

It was everything and more. Restful, relaxing, pet friendly, clean, cozy. We had everything we needed. Stunning views of the lake. Beautiful clean beach. We were lucky enough to see many beautiful sun rises and the harvest moon rising over the lake. Russ was a terrific host and even shared the times the moon would rise our entire stay, so we wouldn't miss it. Hated to leave. We will be back.

This was a perfect place! Everything made us feel like “home” with location, location, location! So many kind and thoughtful touches all around the home. Everything was comfortable and sunlight. The view from the front room is spectacular; the overall space including a back screened porch makes the home feel “open”. Everything from brochures about local places of interest to ample bottled water put a focus on the “guests.” Importantly, the home was spotlessly clean. We were grateful to stay at Russ and Stacy’s cottage for several days with our recently adopted dog where we enjoyed walking the beach with our dog in the morning and evening. This was a very enjoyable vacation for us! Also a great doggie park, Shiloh Road Dog Park, was only about 10 minutes away for our dog to run her energy off with some new puppy pals.

We had a wonderful visit. The view from the cottage couldn't be better and we took daily beach walks right outside. Everything was clean. I highly recommend staying if you want a quiet beachside vacation.

Sorry, Walt Disney but this is the happiest place on earth! The cottage is amazing, cozy and peaceful. Comfortable beds, a great view, a cozy fireplace...what more could you ask for? Though there are other cottages/homes nearby, you will never know it. It's so peaceful. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. There are numerous hiking trails nearby so you can explore if you want or just sit back with the windows open and listen to the waves crash. Get up early to catch the sunrise over the lake. It is absolutely breathtaking! The cottage and beach are so nice, you almost feel guilty leaving to go anywhere else! The hosts are the best and if you're lucky, you might get a visit from Dixie, the owner's golden retriever. We were their very first booking at this property last year and this was our second year there. We've already secured our spot for next year! If you're even thinking of booking this place, what are you waiting for?! You won't be disappointed!!!confortable

Property was wonderful, great location and proximity to the beach. The owner was very easy to reach and we had a blast staying at the cottage. Very clean and accurate listing. Would love to come back again and enjoy all that Door Co has to offer.

Loved staying at this very comfortable cabin. The fully screened in porch is great for escaping the bugs. The beach a few steps away, very friendly hosts, quiet neighborhood. Still close to all the other attractions of Door County. Definitely staying here again.
