Stayed Jan 1, 1Absolutely loved our stay at Natterjack Cottage! So close to the sand dunes and beach for our dogs walks. The cottage has everything you and your dog needs and the beds are so comfy. Winterton on Sea village is lovely and quiet but has a lovely pub for food and drinks. All in all a lovely place to stay!

Stayed Jan 3, 1Natterjack Cottage is a fabulous place to stay, where the owners have thought of everything to make the cottage a real home from home. The kitchen has all that you need if you want to cook up a storm and the appliances are all high end, the lounge area is cosy and comfortable and the bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds and bedding. The cottage was spotless on arrival and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. Even the dog was well catered for with a great enclosed garden, dog towels and treats all provided. The location is also perfect, a lovely little village with a pub that serves lovely food, Poppy’s coffee shop that has amazing cakes, a fish and chip shop and also a small convenience store, all within a 5 minute walk. Add in a 10 minute walk to the incredible beach that is perfect for lovely long walks- what more could you ask for!

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had such a lovely winter break at Natterjack Cottage. We were treated to beautiful snowy scenery on our first morning there and the dogs absolutely loved their walks through the village and onto the snowy dunes. The cottage was immaculate and the kitchen was very well equipped. The owners have thought of everything you might need for your stay from binoculars, picnic rugs and backpack, to doggie name tags, towels, blankets and bedside torches. The cottage is very cosy with the added bonus of a woodburner in the central room to keep you toasty. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and in keeping with authenticity, there are lower beams that you do have to be mindful not to hit your head. The cottage has a large enough garden that is secure and safe for dogs, which is exactly what we need. We would absolutely recommend Natterjack to anyone who is looking for a quiet, comfortable break in Winterton-on-Sea.

Stayed Jan 1, 1The cottage is lovely, clean and has everything needed for a week or longer. Perfect for a couple with 2 children or in our case, 3 dogs. It’s perfectly situated, secluded enough for privacy from the other cottages and a perfect location. We would definitely use the cottage for future trips. Thanks

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a great stay at Natterjack, great location and not far to walk to Winterton Beach. Enclosed good sized garden for our Beagle's to run about in with private parking space for our vehicle. There was plenty of room for our 3 dogs one which was crated overnight in the bedroom again a good sized master bedroom. Good location to the local beaches ( Sea Palling, Horsey Gap, Happisburgh, Eccles on Sea & Scratby) we love the area and always visit Norfolk at least twice a year so we are looking forward to spending Christmas & New Year in Norfolk. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking at spending time in this part of Norfolk.

Stayed Jan 3, 1Natterjack Cottage is a delight! It is like a home from home. Everything you would need is provided. There has been a lot of attention to detail put in to the presentation of the cottage. It is only a short walk to the dunes and the beach. The village has a dog friendly cafe and they cater for those who need a Gluten free diet. The pub is also dog friendly and the food is good. I would definitely book again.

Stayed Jan 3, 1We had a fabulous week staying in Natterjack Cottage. It really was like a ‘home from home’ with everything you could possibly need and more, even the dogs get a beautiful welcome pack. The cottage is kept to a very high standard, nestled in a quiet country lane and within walking distance to the village and beach. The garden is completely enclosed so perfectly secure for dogs to roam, a really lovely place to stay, highly recommend.

Stayed Jan 1, 1This was our third stay at natterjack and won’t be our last. The cottage is so clean and tidy and everything you would ever need is there. The decor is so lovely. Lovely dog friendly pub in the village and the cod and chips from the chip shop are the best we have ever tasted. Lovely quiet beach is 10 mins walk where you can get a drink and bite to eat and public toilets are available if needed. can’t wait to get back. Mandy and Jonathan have done themselves proud

Stayed Jan 1, 1Beautiful and well equipped barn with great attention to detail, especially thank you for treats and blankets for dogs etc. But walk is at least 20 mins to beach, not 5-10 mins. Dunes can be reached in 10 minutes but for beach double that time. Master bedroom had very thin deviding wall to next door's unit, could hear their baby crying, children shouting etc. We had 2 new parties arriving during our week and we could each time hear their children and their conversation. Not as private a holiday home as we hoped. Customer care provided by the owner (as we had a rain leak) was good.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We have just returned home from our third stay at Natterjack and have booked again already for 2026. We visit with Woody our Cocker Spaniel and we all have a wonderful time. The cottage is very well looked after and has everything we need for our week's stay. Woody particularly enjoys having a mooch in the garden and we love eating outside when the sun is shining. The beach is within a few minutes stroll and the local pub, which is even closer and is very dog friendly, serves excellent pub grub too. What more could you want.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a great weekend at Natterjack cottage. It was great parking the car up on Friday afternoon and being able to walk everywhere. That was one of the reasons for picking the location. The cottage itself is superb. The owners have done a fantastic job of really making it a home from home. The attention to detail and all the extra touches make it a really comfortable and relaxing stay. We look forward to returning very soon!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Natterjack cottage is very special. The owners have thought of everything you may need. The furniture and beds are very comfortable and the main living space is very spacious but still feels very cosy. The garden is also much bigger than I expected and gets the sun in the afternoons so both my dog and I enjoyed spending time out there. We also appreciated the cake and goodies that were there when we arrived. The location is great as well and only a few minutes walk to the beach and dunes. I'd definitely recommend Natterjack cottage and I'll certainly be returning.
