Cottage is more spacious than expected. Homely and comfortable with comfy sofas and flame effect gas fire. Perfect location to explore the area from. Set in a quite location with high street and pubs a short stroll away. The Angel pub serves some great meals with a friendly atmosphere. Great walks from the minute you leave the cottage. Val the owner was extremely helpful without being intrusive, even leaving some essentials so we could make a cup of tea on arrival. Lake District and hadrians wall an hour away.
