Homelands is a charitable trust which provides accessible luxury self catering accommodation in 9 purpose built lodges (Massney, Cardy, Keil, Drummochy, Selkirk, Largo, Lundin, Durham and Emsdorf). The lodges are situated in the picturesque village of Lundin Links overlooking Lundin Links Golf course with open views to Edinburgh over the Firth of Forth.

Lundin Links sits just 12 miles from St Andrews, the home of golf, and a short distance from the East Neuk's rugged coastline and itscharacter filled fishing villages such as Crail, Anstruther, and Pitenweem. Lower Largo and Lundin Links themselves are famed for their links to the original Robinson Crusoe (Alexander Selkirk) whose birthplace in Lower Largo is a short distance from the Lodge. The village features a bar, restaurant, sports club (including tennis courts) and a small parade of shops including pharmacy, butchers, bakers, post office, and general store all within a short distance of the lodges.

The region is famed for its outdoor sports/activities, water sports, history and fresh produce / sea food; served in many of the local restaurants which range from Michelin Starred to world famous and favoured by Royals fish and chips in Anstruther.

Further afield we are an hour from Edinburgh (Scotland's Capital City) and Dundee which houses the Discovery museum and V&A Dundee, Scotland’s first design museum

The lodges have been specifically designed with accessibility in mind and a wealth of features have been incorporated into the designs to ensure they are as accessible as possible, including specialist support equipment/ facilities such as ceiling tracking hoists, a full spacious wetroom, profiling beds, airflow mattress, Clos-o-Mat toilet (depending upon lodge) and riser/recliner chair. We can also provide a range of specialist equipment free of charge on request such as mobile hoists, various shower chairs, a shower trolley, and equipment for people who have a hearing loss. These specialist items must be booked in advance and are allocated on a first come first served basis. For more information about what we provide please get in touch, our helpful staff will happily discuss your requirements.

Once again Homelands has given us the chance to celebrate Christmas with the whole family, providing wonderfully accessible space for our daughter's large wheelchair as well as room for our 2 young grandchildren to play.

Overall a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to someone who had mobility needs. The area is lovely and the locals are friendly. The house was lovely, clean (except for afew giant cobwebs) and we'll stocked with cutlery, crockery etc. Comfortable beds and couches. My little niggles where with the equipment we hired, we arrived late, due to several accidents on our way, no fault of homelands obviously but it ment, arriving and bed rails not being fitted, with no clear instructions how to use them, ment we had to come up with other solutions, then we then stuck with, rather than confuse one of our guest with the mobility issues as they are also registered blind. There was also wheelchair we hired, it wasn't made clear on ordering there was a limit on size available, meaning our 2nd guest with mobility issues, an ambulatory user was left with no chair for our break, they did try to use a manual chair but unfortunately pieces where missing from it and because they where questioned on their disability, they didn't feel they could go back again the seek the right equipment. We where unable to bring all equipment ourselves as we are normally a 5 with a 7 seater car but on this occasion we where a 6 in the same car, giving us no room for 2 chairs and 6 peoples luggage. Our extra guest uses a wheelchair chair full-timeso the offer of equipment hire was very appealing but it does need to be much clearer on sizes so people can be more prepared. Overall a great house the grounds are well maintained and views are beautiful. I don't want this to be a negative review, it's not but we could adapt slightly, others may not be able to.

Great location for exploring The Kingdom of Fife. Superb living area with loads of space, great accessible rooms and facilities downstairs and equally impressive master bedroom with twin upstairs. Ideal for a family get-together.

Legally nice comfortable place to stay the cleaning could do with a bit of updating but was fine. not sure if the cleaning was done in a bit of a hurry. Although it was perfectly adequate and all facilities were amazing and it made our holiday really comfortable.

A stay in Drummochy at Homelands is like a home from home. They provide everything you need for each member of the family, especially those with a disability. Access is easy on the ground floor, with wide doorways and a huge wetroom and the upstairs rooms are spacious and comfortable. Having used the facilities a number of times already, I was delighted that my suggestions had been acted on when I arrived this time - a step stool to assist me in reaching the high cupboards and pasta bowls for everyone! The staff in reception are very accommodating and helpful. We have booked for next year already!!

Drummochy provided a first class level of accommodation for my disabled wife and our family to enjoy a week long break in Fife. Every specialist item we required to make the holiday easier for my wife was provided. The lodges are designed to a very high specification level whilst being both very attractive and comfortable. This was our first visit to Fife and the lodges are beautifully located within easy reach of the attractive seaside villages of East Neuk. We were joined by some members of our family including our youngest grandson who enjoyed the space and outside garden. We will be back!

We've been to Drummochy a few times and the update to the property give it a fresh feel. The eight of us had a very relaxing time in a nice location. All the equipment I needed was supplied free of charge and worked as well as my own.

I feel so relaxed and refreshed with the view of the golf course from the bedroom and living room and I very much appreciated the peaceful atmosphere within the lodge I've now seen parts of Scotland that make it beautiful to see.

I was recommended this place by one of my carers who’d visited With her other client and her family. This is hands down the best accessible holiday spot we’ve ever been to. Myself and my sister are both wheelchair users who require hoisting so to find a place that provides all the equipment we needed was invaluable. The property itself was excellent, a spacious kitchen/living room area that actually had a lowered work surface so that I could help cook! Everything in the property was thought of, the staff were really friendly and helpful and we couldn’t ask for anything better. Thank you
