Situated in the heart of the Victorian spa town of Moffat, this 250-year-old, stone, end-terraced cottage retains its traditional character and is an ideal base from which to explore the area. Horse riding, quad biking and golf are all available locally and the 7stanes offers world class mountain biking across Dumfries and Galloway, and the Scottish Borders. Rod hire is available in town for three fishing lochs at the Green Frog Centre on the edge of Moffat, which also has an adventure play park and animal farm. Edinburgh, Carlisle, Glasgow and the historic castles and abbeys in the borders are within an hour of Moffat. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

A lovely cottage with a homely 'lived in' atmosphere and close to local amenities and attractions. Well equipped kitchen, a big TV, good WiFi and a nice log fire.

A neat cottage, very well equipped, clean and bright.. Everything works and is just as it should be. The owner is very helpful aand easily contactable. I much enjoyed my fortnight, couldn't be better.

Lovely little cottage in the centre of a quiet and cheery small town. Beautiful homely set up achieving 2 bedrooms and two loos. Despite small it has everything you need and it was a real pleasure to come home to each day after being out in the beautiful local countryside. No dedicated parking but plenty of on road space. Moffat is a lovely town with all you need and a great location. Highly recommend this cottage and the owner was lovely and friendly. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Cleaned to a high standard and felt Covid-safe. Nice decor, warm and comfortable. Short walk to town centre and the well-stocked Co-op. Great location for exploring the Scottish Borders with lots of lovely walks in the hills and valleys with picturesque lochs, reservoirs and waterfalls. My mum and I had a really lovely time in Moffat and in this cottage. It was very easy to feel at home here. The closeness of eating places was great as my mum is not very mobile. I would like to say the Chippy on the same road as the cottage was so good along with the Star Hotel. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
