The cottage is in a peaceful location. We slept so well, wooden shutters on the bedroom window allowed us to sleep until we woke naturally.Roseburn cottage is very spacious for just 2 people, you can't see this in the photos. The kitchen is particularly large, and very well equipped. The boot room a great space for dropping off everything not immediately required. The cottage is very warm and clean. Lots of reading material, games and TV channels. Being January the weather was a bit off, but there are stunning drives and destinations in the area. We took the easy drive to Glasgow for a day too.Our hosts were very thoughtful, a generous welcome pack, and they answered our one and only query immediately (tv login code). We hope to stay at the cottage again, an excellent find.

This cottage was just what we needed for a weekend visiting family. It was very cosy and extremely well equipped with a beautiful view of a red acer in the courtyard. While slightly out of the town centre, it meant a good walk for my dog to visit relatives or the local shops. There are also lots of other beautiful walks nearby and around the town. Now we know about the cottage, if it’s available, we’d love to stay there again.

Comfortable, cosy, cottage, good quality bedding, crockery etc and extremely well equipped. The “ boot room” an added bonus for storing boots and drying off the dog. Only a ten minute walk into Moffat which had a lot to offer for a small town. The surrounding area is great for walking and exploring. There were just a couple of small issues which when mentioned to the owner we were assured they would be addressed . A great holiday, we would return.

We were given a very warm welcome from Claire - wine, homemade cake, fresh flowers etc. Very nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen, cozy lounge with log burner AND all immaculately clean and well presented. Great location, good walks right from the cottage, all of Moffatt facilities within an easy walk. Lots of good restaurants in town.
