Place was perfect for our family of six, sooooooo close to the ocean! We were mainly there for DL (25 min), and this was a great jumping off point. But we could have easily enjoyed a week just hanging locally at the beach, pier, etc! On a rainy week, very glad for the washer and dryer, which got a workout!

Our family was in town for holiday gathering and this home was just right for us. It was very comfortable and close to the beach. The hosts were responsive and easy to work with.

The property is in a great location and is comfortably furnished. Unfortunately, it is on the ground floor and two nights we were awakened about 4-4:30am by what sounded like someone walking around in clogs and moving furniture. Where they cleaning between renters? That should definitely be improved.

We loved how close this place is to the beach - just a quick walk! The beach amenities were such a nice touch, and the back patio was perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. It’s also an easy walk to shops and the grocery store, which made everything super convenient.Bring coffee pods (or ground coffee) and earplugs if you’re sensitive - the neighborhood is lively and the houses are close together, so you’ll hear the everyday sounds of people and beach life.We’d definitely stay here again!

So close to everything you need. The beach, stores, food, major roadways. Place is stocked with bikes, floats, and beach toys.

Great place to stay and close to the beach!

This was our 4th trip to the “Neptune” house. And it was wonderful as always. Clean, spacious and steps to the beach. It would have been nice to have screen doors on the backyard slider and front door.

My daughter recommended this place! It was great. Will definitely be booking next year!

Great location. Very clean, had plenty of kitchen items to cook with. Laundry facilities worked well. Only issue was not being aware there was no ac and it could get stuffy if fans and doors not left open and on.

Loved the location and the ease of accessing the property. The two parking spaces were so helpful. Property was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for quick access to the beach and a very comfortable place to stay.

We had a perfect time!

If it’s a quiet 5 star hotel you’re looking for keep looking. But if you want a casual, fun, relaxing beach stay this is for you! A vintage Newport duplex with all its quirks and fun vibe.the properties are all in close proximity; the weekend energy is palatable. The property is well equipped In every way; Bikes, beach chairs, kitchen tools, BBQ, on site parking and a comfortable cross breeze when the front door and slider are open. It’s located on the north end of the peninsula (my preference) which has much less traffic and congestion but easy access to the pier, Fun Zone, PCH and great restaurants. The location is just steps to the sand with lifeguard stations. The back patio is a plus! We were a family of five adults in town for a UCI graduation and enjoyed our four night stay. I would not hesitate to book again.

The home was a bit dated but comfortable and had everything you need. It is in a great location, just steps to the beach (120 steps to be exact, lol). There were a few minor inconveniences, the light in the dining room didn't work. And several of the outlets wouldnt work but we managed. Would absolutely stay here agsi !

Location was conveniently close to the beach . . . a short 100 yard walk. We were able to experience the ocean without having to drive and park. The three bedrooms were adequately furnished and the beds were comfortable.The host was extremely accommodating and replied to messages quickly. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This was our first trip to Newport. Condo location is fabulous with the added bonus of off-street parking. Stephanie was extremely responsive and helpful with a few inquiries we had. Beach was close enough to spend the day and run back to condo for breaks often. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything is as described. We hope to make this our new annual destination.

Loved our stay in Newport Beach! The house is only one house back from the beach, and a short bike ride to the Newport Beach boardwalk. Absolutely perfect location for our California vacation! Super awesome to have garage and driveway parking, which is a hot commodity in the Newport area. House had several bikes, beach chairs, a couple boogey boards, wagon and beach umbrella. Nice to have a washer and dryer too. The house had all the pots, pans, and eating utensils necessary to cook and eat at home. No spices or things for cooking, though, which was fine, since we didn't plan on cooking any major meals. Price was right, and the homeowner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much!

Great place and location. The only negative, which the owner clearly warned us about is being able to hear the upstairs renters - Really well... Music, footsteps and chairs were super loud even without my hearing aids :) So, if the renters are into staying up until 4:00am like ours did on Friday then you might as well go join them because getting sleep is not going to be much of an option.

We enjoyed our stay. Mere steps to the beach to lay out or just sit and have a tea. Close to Newport and Balboa with tons of places to eat, drink, and play games. We even took the ferry for a few bucks. There was a fire pit in the back that came in real handy. Place was clean and well equipped with everything you need. There were bikes and beach toys to use whenever we wanted. Host responded to all our questions promptly at all times (not too late).

What a great location! The cottage was comfortable, great location and a 5 Star beach just a few steps away. We were so busy with a wedding reception we want to come again and just enjoy the beach. Thank you!

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs. 3 bedroom with 4 great beds. My granddaughters love the full size bunk beds. Well equipped kitchen and lots of ceiling fans. The best part… the beach was steps away. We’ll be back!

I book a space every year for my birthday so that all my kids and my grandkids can get together and enjoy the beach. I usually book in San Diego area. This year was a little different due to the fact that my daughter had a couple of things she had to do on Saturday, needless to say I wasn’t very excited about staying so close to home. But …I must say this was one of the best stays we had together. The location was perfect. We were able to walk back-and-forth from the ocean to the house throughout the day and night. The place was pretty clean. It had enough room for all of us plus visitors that would pop up here and there. We were able to barbecue and hang out in the back patio every night. There was some reviews that stated that the upstairs unit created a lot of noise, but honestly, it wasn’t too bad. We would hear footsteps every now and then but that’s about it. The only thing I have to say is the kitchen wasn’t supplied with simple items like salt and pepper but next time I book I’ll know bring my own salt and pepper lol I have nothing negative to say this was an amazing place !! We will book again !

We would stay here again. The unit had everything we needed for a longer stay. Quiet neighborhood even though neighbors are very close. Everything was very clean at check-in. The two minute walk to the beach was the best feature. Very close to a few takeout food options. It was so nice that the local beach in August wasn’t too crowded. A bit warm for sleeping in August but the fans in the bedrooms helped. The kids loved the large bunk beds and their own TV. Laundry in the garage was a plus!

Our family rented the upper & lower unit! We had plenty of room and did all our own cooking & eating in the downstairs back patio! 100 steps to the sand! (my grandson counted!) This is our 3rd time here and we will be back!
