Comfortable lower unit in a duplex between the piers just one house from the sand. One car parking, small patio, fireplace, dishwasher, and shared laundry in garage. This unit faces Balboa Blvd. between 18th Street and 19th Street.

Pets: Pets are not permitted on or about the premises. ADA service animals required because of a disability are allowed with advanced notice. ESA's, Emotional Support Animals, are not allowed.

Parking: 1 car parking - This unit provides 1 car parking in shared garage.

Bedding: Blankets, mattress pads, bed spreads, sheets and towels are provided!

Kitchen/Supplies: Our kitchens are supplied with all the basic dishes, utensils and cookware needed for everyday cooking. We also stock some cleaning supplies and dry goods such as paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, trash bags, foil, etc. to help you begin your vacation however you may need to purchase additional supplies during your stay. We do not provide certain cooking items including salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. as well as specialty cookware.

You may want to bring: Laundry detergent, beach chairs/equipment, paper plates/plastic cutlery, extra beach towels, pens and paper, etc.

    Loved the ground level unit with only two stairs. Great location for beach or harbor. Combination locks on the unit and garage worked great! Did not have to carry a key around. Made it easy for our group of five. Single vehicle parking for ground level unit is extremely tight for a mid size SUV. Street parking for a second vehicle is a bit of a challenge. Found a dirty kitchen knife and sunglasses case under the master bedroom bed. Mattress in the master bedroom and two bed room should be updated. Had to move out the bed away from the wall to use from both sides easily. There were a few skid marks on the wood floor. We stayed for 7 days and there were only 3 rolls of toilet paper for the two bathrooms combined. A rod would be nice for the sliding door in the master bedroom so it could be opened a bit without someone being able to just walk in. There is no locking street (or any screen for that matter) on the sliding window door. Handles should be placed on the drawers to the left of the stove in the kitchen. These were difficult to open. A skill type pan would have been nice, coffee filters in the coffee maker were too big and salt and pepper shakers should have been filled. We Gould two sets empty. We did not use the quarter operated washer and dryer in the garage so not sure how they worked. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this location with the few upgrades.

    The location was great. The property really needs repairs to the kitchen cabinets and updates to the bedrooms. But the affordability evens out the negative aspects of this.property.

    The place was plenty big enough and a great location. Great walking distance to pier, food and other shops. Quick access to the beach.

    Quick weekend stay in a great place. Updated bathrooms and close to everything! Van didn’t fit in the garage but there is free parking right in the front if you time it right(saw plenty of open spots) 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pullout couch. No ceiling fans but enough box fans for each room which made sleeping nice. Would come back again!

    This property is in a great location, but there are some significant issues. The first thing we noticed was the very old carpet in the bedrooms, which practically crunched when we walked on it. While the front room seemed to have been recently updated, the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms are very old and in bad shape, even down to the popcorn (asbestos?) ceilings. We then noticed ants everywhere. The management company was very good about getting us traps, but there were so many, that they couldn't' get them all. The place needs to be fumigated. Then, we noticed all the grime and even mold on the wallpaper, which must be decades old. Note also that the laundry is coin-op. The money was not a concern, but having to find quarters in today's world is not easy. If the owner would invest just a little bit of money to buy new carpet, etc., this could be a very good place to stay.

    This property was spotless and the location was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for my family of 6. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning next year.
